The MCT Showdown, formerly The Sunova Spiel at East St. Paul is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament on the Manitoba Curling Tour, held at the East St. Paul Curling Club in East St. Paul, Manitoba. It was part of the Men's and Women's World Curling Tour from 2014 to 2019.

Tracy Fleury is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. She joined the Rachel Homan rink as skip for the 2022–23 season, and now plays third on the team. The DeKalb Superspiel is a curling bonspiel that takes place at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Manitoba. It was an event on the World Curling Tour until 2019 and the Manitoba Curling Tour, and also takes part in the Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS). There is a men's and women's event. The event began in 2009 and is annually held usually the third weekend in November but is subject to changes if the WCT or MCA has a conflicting bonspiel.

The Atkins Curling Supplies Classic is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The event has also been hosted by the Charleswood Curling Club in Winnipeg and the East St. Paul Curling Club in East St. Paul, Manitoba. The tournament is held in a round-robin format and was part of the World Curling Tour from 2012 to 2019. It began in 2007. Prior to this it was just part of the Manitoba Curling Tour.

Darcy Robertson is a Canadian curler. She is a three-time provincial champion and former Canadian junior champion.

Amanda Gates is a Canadian curler who currently coaches the Abby Deschene rinks on the World Curling Tour. Gates used to play with Team Tracy Fleury and in 2015, Team Horgan became the first women's team in the history of women's curling to represent Northern Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. In Gates' first appearance at the Scotties, she won the Marj Mitchell Sportsmanship Award.

Braden Calvert is a Canadian curler from Carberry, Manitoba. He currently skips his own team out of Winnipeg. He is a former World Junior curling champion and two-time Canadian junior champion.

Ian McMillan is a Canadian curler from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He currently plays second on Team Tanner Horgan.

The Manitoba Curling Tour (MCT) Championships is an annual bonspiel on the men's and women's World Curling Tour. It has been part of the WCT since 2013.

Jenna Enge is a Canadian curler, originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario. She currently plays second on Team Penny Barker. She formerly played for the Tracy Fleury rink and in 2015, Team Horgan became the first team to represent Northern Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

The 2019–20 curling season began in June 2019 and was scheduled to end in May 2020. However, the coronavirus pandemic declared in March 2020 resulted in the cancellation of events and the premature ending of the season.

The Tim Hortons Spitfire Arms Cash Spiel is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at the Windsor Curling Club in Windsor, Nova Scotia. It was held as part of the women's World Curling Tour from 2015 to 2019 and was part of the men's Tour from 2015 to 2017. The tournament is held in a round robin format.

The East St. Paul Curling Club, located in East St. Paul, Manitoba, is a curling club in Western Canada that was founded in 1957. The club resides at 260 Hoddinott Road and was founded by a group of local citizens. Over the years, it has undergone multiple renovations.

Kyle Kurz is a Canadian curler from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He currently plays second on Team Braden Calvert.

Sara Oliver is a Canadian curler from Winnipeg. She currently plays lead on Team Jolene Campbell. She is a former World Mixed Curling Champion.
