The Morioka Ice Rink Memorial Cup is an annual tournament on the men's World Curling Tour Japan. It is held annually in June at Morioka Ice Rink in Morioka, Japan. [1]

The purse for the event is ¥ 240,000. Its event classification is 100. [1]

The event has been held since 2015. The 2015, 2019 and 2023 events were part of the World Curling Tour. The event was part of the Asia Pacific Curling Tour until 2018.

A women's event was held in 2015 and 2019.

The 2020 Japan Curling Championships, or the 37th Zen-Noh Japan Curling Championships, the Japanese national men's and women's curling championships, were held from February 8 to 16 in 2020 at the Karuizawa Ice Park in Karuizawa, Nagano. These championships were organized by the Japan Curling Association (JCA), and sponsored primarily by Zen-Noh. The women's winner was to represent Japan at the 2020 World Women's Curling Championship, but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tomohiro Ogawa is a Japanese male volleyball player from Yokohama city in Kanagawa Prefecture. He plays in V.League Division 1 for Wolf Dogs Nagoya and Japan men's national volleyball team.

The 2022 All Japan High School Women's Soccer Tournament marks the 31st edition of the referred annually contested women's cup for High Schools over Japan. The tournament is contested by 32 high schools in a knockout-stage format. The final will be played one day prior to the men's final, on 8 January 2023, at the Noevir Stadium Kobe. The Kamimura Gakuen High School are the defending champions, winning the last championship by 3–0 against the Hinomoto Gakuen High School.

The 2023–24 curling season began in June 2023 and will end in May 2024.

The Ice Gold Cup is an annual tournament on the men's World Curling Tour. It is held annually in May at Curlplex Obihiro in Obihiro, Japan.
