MSDS Marine is a British marine and coastal contractor that specialises in the management, execution and support of archaeological projects in the marine environment. The company also engages in outreach to educate the public about marine and coastal heritage and environments [1] and provides opportunities for volunteering. [2] [3]
MSDS Marine was set up in 2011, and became a limited company in 2015. [4] In 2019 MSDS Marine opened an office in Holbrook, Derbyshire. The company is a CIfA Registered Organisation, [5] a member of the Association of Diving contractors, [6] and a member of the Federation of Archaeological Managers and Employers. [7]
In 2017 and 2018 MSDS Marine, in partnership with the Rijksdienst Voor het Cultureel Erfgoed and Historic England, conducted an excavation of the remains of the eighteenth-century Dutch East Indiaman the Rooswijk , [8] [9] [10] and As of 2020 [update] are leading the post excavation works which are planned to finish in 2021. [11] In 2018 MSDS Marine produced a virtual dive trail for the Rooswijk. [12] [13]
Between 2014 and 2016 MSDS Marine worked alongside Cotswold Archaeology to excavate the wreck of the seventeenth century second-rate ship of the line the London . [14] . The excavation was licensed and funded by Historic England. During this excavation a gun carriage was recovered which has been hailed as a nationally significant find [15] MSDS Marine are also contracted to undertake remote sensing work on the site of the wreck to monitor ongoing erosion. [16] MSDS Marine also assisted in the development of a virtual dive trail for the London. [17]
Other projects include the development of virtual trails for the protected wreck site at Thorness Bay [18] [19] and the submarine U8, [20] and the retained archaeologist role for a number of offshore wind farms.
MSDS Marine has been featured on the BBC's Digging for Britain, [21] [22] Wind Energy Network Magazine [23] Current Archaeology magazine, and the National Geographic Channel’s Drain the Oceans. [24] [25]
Bellingwedde was a municipality with a population of data missing in the province Groningen in the northeast of the Netherlands. Bellingwedde was established in 1968, when the municipalities of Bellingwolde and Wedde had merged. It contained the villages Bellingwolde, Blijham, Oudeschans, Veelerveen, Vriescheloo, and Wedde. After almost 50 year, Bellingwedde was disestablished in 2018, when the municipalities of Bellingwedde and Vlagtwedde had merged into Westerwolde.

Reimerswaal is a lost city in the Netherlands. The present-day municipality of Reimerswaal is named after this city, which was granted city rights in 1374. The city was destroyed by repeated floods, and the last citizens left in 1632. Nothing remains. It was located north of the current municipality, on the east end of the Oosterschelde, on land which is now called the Verdronken Land van Reimerswaal. The site of the city has been recognized as a national archeological monument and is buried under the Oesterdam.

The Lutherse Kerk, also known as St. George's Chapel, is an 18th-century church in the Dutch city of Delft. The church's foundation was laid in the 15th or 16th centuries, with a wooden structure being built on top of it. This first wooden church burned down in 1536, and the city of Delft erected an armory where the church had stood.
