Maclean Daniel Ayres, better known as Mac Ayres, is an American R&B singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist.
Ayres grew up in Sea Cliff, New York, and graduated from North Shore High School. He sang in various choral groups as a child, including the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and the North Shore High School Madrigals. [1] [ dead link ] He became friends with his drummer, Chris Anderson, during high school and they began playing together at age 15. [2] He attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, from 2014 to 2017, dropping out to work on his Drive Slow EP. [3]
Ayres released his first EP in 2017 titled Drive Slow after dropping out of Berklee that same year. [4] [1] He released his full-length debut album, Something to Feel, the following summer. [3] [5] Ayres' second full-length album, Juicebox, was released in 2019. [6]
In an interview with music blog EarToTheGround Music, Ayres mentioned among his musical influences "Teddy Pendergrass, most of Motown, and especially the iconic Stevie Wonder." His defining artist was D'Angelo, whose album VooDoo "felt like what music is supposed to be to me," according to Ayres. [7]

He first garnered attention after co-producing the single "U Will Know" for R&B supergroup Black Men United. Charlotte Ann Martin is an American singer-songwriter and voice coach, who performs predominantly on the piano. She has written several studio albums, two of which have received mainstream commercial releases, 2004's On Your Shore and 2006's Stromata. In 2009, she released an instrumental piano album titled Piano Trees before releasing her new studio album Dancing On Needles on February 1, 2011. On February 25, 2014, she released a new studio album, Water Breaks Stone.
Roy Anthony Hargrove was an American jazz musician and composer whose principal instruments were the trumpet and flugelhorn. He achieved worldwide acclaim after winning two Grammy Awards for differing styles of jazz in 1998 and 2002. Hargrove primarily played in the hard bop style for the majority of his albums, but also had a penchant for genre-crossing exploration and collaboration with a variety of hip hop, soul, R&B and alternative rock artists. As Hargrove told one reporter, "I've been around all kinds of musicians, and if a cat can play, a cat can play. The EDM-pop duo achieved a breakthrough with their 2014 song "#Selfie", which became a top-twenty single in several countries. They have won a Grammy award, two American Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards and nine iHeartRadio Music Awards. According to Forbes 2019 list of highest-paid celebrities, the Chainsmokers were the highest-paid DJs, dethroning Calvin Harris after six years.
The 1975 are an English pop rock band formed in Wilmslow in 2002. The band consists of Matty Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald (bass), and George Daniel. The name of the band was inspired by a page of scribblings found in Healy's copy of On the Road by Jack Kerouac that was dated "1 June, The 1975".
Mitchell Coby Michael Grassi is an American singer from Arlington, Texas. Known for his high tenor voice, Grassi came to international attention as a founding performer in two groups—the a cappella quintet Pentatonix, and the duo Superfruit with Pentatonix bandmate Scott Hoying. As of September 2023, Pentatonix has released eleven albums and six EPs, have had five songs in the Billboard Hot 100, and won three Grammy awards as "the first a cappella group to achieve mainstream success in the modern market". Hibou is an American dream pop/shoegaze band based in Seattle, Washington, formed in 2013. The band consists solely of Peter Michel, who formerly toured as the drummer for Craft Spells. The band released its debut EP Dunes in 2013. Subsequently, Hibou released an eponymously titled debut album in the fall of 2015. He is said to have recorded much of the album in his bedroom and walk-in closet located in his parents’ home in Seattle. Hibou's sound is inspired by Michel's love of soda, summer, 1980s music, and Discovery Park.

Something to Feel is the debut studio album by New Zealand soul musician Teeks. Released in three parts, first as the extended plays I and II in 2020, the album was released in full in March 2021. The album was a commercial success, debuting at number one on the Official New Zealand Music Chart. In November 2021, the album was re-released, featuring the single "Oil & Water".
