Madah Berhelah is the debut studio album by Malaysian singer Ziana Zain. It was released on Disember 16, 1991, by BMG Pacific. [1] It features a mix of pop songs and ballads influenced by 1980s soft rock. The album was produced by Rahim Othman. Upon its release, Madah Berhelah received generally positive reviews from music critics, who complimented Ziana's voice and technique, as well as the album's content.[ citation needed ]
The title track and lead single was both a critical and commercial success. It was considered to be Ziana's signature song and helped establish her career. The single was a finalist in 1992's Anugerah Juara Lagu in the "Creative Pop" category. However, the song lost to Nash's "Pada Syurga Di Wajahmu". The followup single was "Riwayat Cinta".[ citation needed ]
Madah Berhelah sold 40,000 copies in Malaysia and was certified Gold by RIM. [2] [3]

Siti Roziana binti Zain is a Malaysian pop singer and actress. Her music career began in the early '90s with her signature single, "Madah Berhelah" followed by hits like "Terlerai Kasih", "Setia Ku Di Sini" and "Puncak Kasih". In 1995, she was crowned Voice of Asia in Kazakhstan.
Aubrey Suwito is a Malaysian pianist, keyboardist, songwriter, arranger and producer. Aubrey Suwito started his musical journey at the age of 6 and has since written songs for various artists, most notably Gemilang for Jaclyn Victor which won multiple awards including the Asian Music Festival and Anugerah Juara Lagu. He was the musical director on Malaysian Idol. Aubrey also worked as musical director for the hit reality television talent search competition One in a Million.
