Magnus Sheffield (born April 19, 2002) is an American cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers. [5]

Magnus Sheffield left Rally Cycling in August 2021 for unknown reasons ahead of his 2022 season with Ineos. [6]

In April 2022 Sheffield won Brabantse Pijl, one of the Flanders Classics races. He finished +0:37 ahead of French riders Warren Barguil and Benoît Cosnefroy becoming the first American to win this race and the first American to win any one of these classics since Tyler Farrar over a decade earlier. [7]

The 2022 season for Ineos Grenadiers is the 13th season in the team's existence, all of which have been as a UCI WorldTeam. This is the fourth season with Ineos as the title sponsor and the second full season with the current name. They use Pinarello bicycles, Shimano drivetrain, Shimano wheels and Bioracer clothing.

The 2022 Brabantse Pijl was the 62nd edition of the Brabantse Pijl cycle race and was held on 13 April 2022. The race covered 205.1 km (127.4 mi), starting in Leuven and finishing in Overijse. Magnus Sheffield of Ineos Grenadiers took the win with a 3.5km solo. As one of the 3 Ineos Grenadiers team riders in it, he attacked from a leading group of 7 and managed to hold them off to the line to take his second career victory.
