Mainstream is an early demo EP from Canadian indie rock band Metric. The album is currently not available in stores, although it is circulated widely on the internet. It was revealed in the 2009 book This Book is Broken , that the band was called "Mainstream" at this time, not "Metric", and Joshua Winstead and Joules Scott-Key had not yet joined.

Edlin "Buddy" Terry was an American jazz musician and alto/tenor sax player. He was born in Newark, New Jersey. In the 1960s and 1970s Terry made albums for Prestige Records and Mainstream Records. He played with the group Swingadelic from 2000 to 2010. He died on November 29, 2019 at the age of 78 from a stroke.

On 7 July 2015, the band released "Too Bad, So Sad" as the third single via a new iOS and Android app it created called "Pagan Portal", which allows fans to listen to tracks off the album as they're released and read newsletters from the band.
Art of Doubt is the seventh studio album by Canadian indie rock band Metric, which was released on 21 September 2018. The first single, "Dark Saturday", was released on 13 July 2018, followed by "Dressed to Suppress" on 26 July, and "Now or Never Now" on 4 September. On 13 September NPR published a live stream of the album.
