Mal Webb (born 31 October 1966, Melbourne, Australia) is a singer, beatboxer and multi-instrumentalist who has performed in various groups in the Australian music scene. [1] He records his own original songs as well as providing material for other artists. He is a founding member of The Oxo Cubans, Sock, Totally Gourdgeous, and Formidable Vegetable, as well as performing solo and as a duo with Kylie Morrigan. As a composer, he provided the soundtracks for The Adventures of Lano and Woodley (ABC TV series 1997–1999), [2] Woodley (ABC TV series 2012) [3] and Wishworks' puppet show, Whispering Smith (UK 2015). In 2018, he premiered his work, "Notey and Noisy, a Sound Science Mathemusical", which was released on July 5th, 2024 on CD and Streaming Services, [4] and as a Digital Download on Bandcamp. [5] His yodelling vocal technique has been studied using endoscopy. [6]

Lano and Woodley is an Australian comedy duo. Previously, the two had been part of comedy trio The Found Objects along with Scott Casley. Casley left and so Lano and Woodley debuted as a double-act in March 1993 at Melbourne's Prince Patrick Hotel. Their act features sketch comedy and slapstick theatre. Their television show The Adventures of Lano and Woodley aired on the ABC in 1997 and 1999. In 1994, they won the Edinburgh Fringe Perrier Comedy Award. They have written one book, Housemeeting, published in 1996.

The Adventures of Lano and Woodley is an Australian comedy television show starring the comedic duo of Lano and Woodley, consisting of two series which aired on ABC TV from 1997 to 1999. The first series was distributed on VHS and in 2004 The Complete Adventures of Lano and Woodley was released as a two-disc DVD rather than each series being released separately.

Frank Woodley is an Australian comedian, author and musician who is best known for his work alongside Colin Lane as part of the comedic duo Lano and Woodley. The two first performed together for almost 20 years in live shows, a television series and an album of comedic songs, before deciding to pursue individual careers in 2006. They announced their reformation in November 2017.

Lano & Woodley Sing Songs is the live 2005 album by Australian comedy duo, Lano & Woodley. The album was recorded at a show the pair did in August 2005 at the HiFi Bar in Melbourne, and features many visual jokes that the listener is unable to identify, which was joked at several times during the performance. The album won the 2006 ARIA Award for Best Comedy Release.

Geoff Paine is an Australian television and theatre actor from Melbourne. After graduating from drama school Paine secured a role on the soap opera Neighbours, playing the role of doctor Clive Gibbons. He remained in the role for one year before leaving to pursue other projects. He returned to the role briefly in 1989, with the opportunity to appear in a spin-off series based on the character, but no television network would produce the show. Paine continued his career with roles in A Country Practice and the comedy sketch show The Comedy Company. He also concentrated on his stage career gaining roles in productions that toured Australia, including various projects at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
