Asian Youth Para Games appearances

Malaysia competed in the 2021 Asian Youth Para Games which will be held in Manama, Bahrain from 2 to 6 December 2021. Malaysia contingent has 13 athletes who will compete in six sports and was led by chef de mission of delegation, Kumarusamy Sithambaram. [1] [2]

Mokhtar Dahari Malaysian footballer

Dato' Mohd Mokhtar bin Dahari was a Malaysian football player from Setapak, Selangor, he played for F.A. Selangor for most of his life. He is considered a legendary footballer in Malaysian football history, especially with F.A. Selangor. A prolific forward, he was nicknamed Supermokh due to his playing skills and strength.

Tan Wee Kiong Badminton player

Tan Wee Kiong is a Malaysian badminton player in the doubles event. He is well-known for his former partnership with Goh V Shem, which began at the 2014 Thomas Cup. Together, Tan and Goh won the gold medal in the men's doubles and the mixed team event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. They also won bronze at the 2014 Asian Games. In their Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio Olympics, they won the silver medal, becoming the first Malaysian pair to achieve such a feat since 1996. In November 2016, they reached a career-high ranking of world number 1, making them the fourth ever Malaysian men's doubles pair to do so, after Cheah Soon Kit and Yap Kim Hock, Chan Chong Ming and Chew Choon Eng, and Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong.

2015 ASEAN Para Games

The 2015 ASEAN Para Games, officially known as the 8th ASEAN Para Games, was a Southeast Asian disabled multi-sport event hosted by the city-state of Singapore. Unlike the previous editions the games were held six months after the closing of the 2015 Southeast Asian Games from 3 to 9 December 2015. This was Singapore's first time as host of the ASEAN Para Games.

2017 ASEAN Para Games

The 2017 ASEAN Para Games, officially known as the 9th ASEAN Para Games, was a Southeast Asian disabled multi-sport event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 17 days after the 2017 Southeast Asian Games from 17 to 23 September 2017. This was the third time Malaysia host the ASEAN Para Games and its first time since 2009. Previously, Malaysia also hosted the inaugural games in 2001.

Goh Jin Wei Malaysian badminton player

Goh Jin Wei is a Malaysian former badminton player. She won the girls' singles titles at the 2015, 2018 World Junior Championships ad at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. She also won the women's singles title at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games.

Aaron Chia Chinese-Malaysian Badminton player

Aaron Chia Teng Fong is a Malaysian badminton player. He joined the national team since 2015. He represented Malaysia in the 2018 Thomas Cup. Chia and his partner Soh Wooi Yik were the All England Open finalist and the Southeast Asian Games gold medalist in 2019. The duo won the bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Yang Li Lian is a Malaysian badminton player. In 2014, she competed at the Badminton at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup is a Malaysian politician who has served as Deputy Minister of Works in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Minister Fadillah Yusof since August 2021. He served as the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Economic Affairs in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and Minister Mustapa Mohamed from March 2020 to August 2021. He is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Pensiangan, as well the Deputy President of United Sabah People's Party (PBRS).

Malaysia at the 2020 Summer Olympics Malaysia at the Games of the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo

Malaysia competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the nation's official debut in 1956 under the name Malaya, Malaysian athletes have appeared in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games, with the exception of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow because of the United States-led boycott.

Philippines at the 2017 Asian Youth Para Games Sporting event delegation

The Philippines participated at the 2017 Asian Youth Para Games which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 10 to 14 December 2017. The Philippine contingent had 12 athletes competed in five sports and was led by head of delegation, Francis Cruz Diaz.

The 2021 Asian Youth Para Games, also known as the 4th Asian Youth Para Games is the 4th edition of multi-sport event for Asian athletes with different abilities. This event will be held in Manama, Bahrain.
