The University of Malaya is a public research university located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the oldest and highest ranking Malaysian institution of higher education according to two international ranking agencies, and also the only university in the post-independent Malaya. The university has graduated four prime ministers of Malaysia, and other political, business, and cultural figures of national prominence.
Tun Haji Abdul Razak bin Dato' Hussein was a Malaysian politician who served as the second prime minister of Malaysia from September 1970 to his death in January 1976. He also served as the first deputy prime minister of Malaysia from August 1957 to September 1970. He is referred to as the Father of Development.
Tun Hussein bin Dato' Onn was a Malaysian politician who served as the third prime minister of Malaysia from the death of his predecessor Abdul Razak Hussein in January 1976 to his retirement in July 1981. Moreover, he was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sri Gading from 1974 to 1981, representing Barisan Nasional (BN) and United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). He was granted the soubriquet Father of Unity.

The International Medical University (IMU) is a private, English language, health sciences university in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was established in 1992, and is active in research and teaching within medicine and healthcare with a strong international orientation. IMU is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia's largest private healthcare group IHH Healthcare, which is majority-owned by the Mitsui & Co. The current CEO of IMU is Abdul Aziz Baba.

University of Putra Malaysia, abbreviated as UPM, is a Malaysian public university located in Serdang, Selangor. Formerly it was named as Universiti Pertanian Malaysia, which focuses on agricultural sciences and its related fields. Since 1990s, the field of study expanded to human ecology, languages, architecture, medicine, computer science and biotechnology. Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin is the 18th public institution of higher learning, located in the state of Terengganu, Malaysia. The university is a creature of the Act of Parliament known as the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971, with its constitution laid down under the Universities and University Colleges (Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin) Order 2010. It is the first full-fledged university in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia and the first university to be based on the “cluster” concept. Bandar Baru Nilai or Putra Nilai is a new township in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is nearest to Nilai Old Town or also known as Nilai. Due to its proximity, and connection through the KTM to Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Kuala Lumpur International Airport, it is a rapidly growing new town. Development projects can be seen as one drives around Nilai. Two of Malaysia's most well-known colleges and two universities are located in Nilai: Nilai University, INTI International University, Manipal International University, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and Islamic University College of Malaysia. As a result, the town is occupied by students from all over the world. Students from over 30 countries can be seen in Nilai.
