Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad, known informally as Dr. M, is a Malaysian physician, politician, and author who has been Prime Minister of Malaysia since 2018, having previously held the office from 1981 to 2003. He is the chairman of the Pakatan Harapan coalition, as well as a member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Langkawi constituency in the state of Kedah. Mahathir's political career has spanned more than 70 years starting with his participation during the Malayan Union in protests against non-Malays gaining Malaysian citizenship; he formed his own party, the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (PPBM), in 2016.

Gobind Singh Deo s/o Karpal Singh is a Malaysian politician, lawyer and currently serving as the Minister of Communications and Multimedia. He is also Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component of Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He is dubbed the "little lion of Puchong". He is the son of the DAP politician and lawyer Karpal Singh. His brothers, Ramkarpal Singh and Jagdeep Singh Deo, are also DAP politicians. He is the first Sikh in history to be appointed to the Cabinet of Malaysia.

Universiti Teknologi MARA is a public university in Malaysia, based primarily in Shah Alam. Tengku Zulpuri Shah bin Raja Puji is a Malaysian politician and is currently a Vice-Chairman of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) since 12 November 2017. He also serves as Pahang DAP Deputy Chairman and is a member of the Pahang royal family. He is the son of Tengku Puji Tengku Abdul Hamid, former PAS Pahang deputy commissioner who is also a former PAS committee member. He was also appointed as Member of the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) in Selangor in 2009.

Dato' Paul Leong Khee Seong was a Malaysian politician from the Malaysian People's Movement Party (GERAKAN) who served as four-term Member of Parliament (MP) of Malaysia for Taiping between 1974 and 1990. He was also Minister of Primary Industries of Malaysia between 1978 and 1986. He is currently the Chancellor of HELP University.
