Malcolm Robert Buckby (born 8 September 1951) is a former politician who lost his seat in the electoral district of Light in the 2006 SA election. He is a former research economist and farmer first elected in 1993 replacing Bruce Eastick.
After the 2002 SA Election, Buckby was given the portfolios of Education, and transport, urban development, and planning portfolios in opposition. In April 2004 Buckby gave up his portfolios to concentrate on his electorate. Tony Piccolo won this seat in the 2006 SA election with 52.1% on two-party preference, a swing of 4.9%.

Dean Craig Brown, AO is a politician who served as the Premier of South Australia between 14 December 1993 and 28 November 1996, and also served as 10th Deputy Premier of South Australia between 22 October 2001 and 5 March 2002, representing the South Australian Division of the Liberal Party of Australia. He became premier when he led the party to a landslide win at the 1993 state election, and lost the office when he lost a leadership challenge to John Olsen in November 1996.

Rau was the Labor member of the House of Assembly seat of Enfield from the 2002 election until announcing his intention to retire from Parliament on 10 December 2018, and submitting his resignation on 17 December 2018.

Light is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. As its area overlaps or is adjacent to the south western portion of the Light Regional Council and the south bank of the Light River, it is indirectly named after Colonel William Light, the first Surveyor-General of South Australia. The electorate was created in 1857, abolished at the 1902 election and recreated at the 1938 election. It is based on the semi-rural township of Gawler, and stretches southwards into the outermost northern suburbs of Adelaide.

Liberty Great Britain or Liberty GB was a far-right British nationalist political party that described itself as counter-jihad. It was registered with the Electoral Commission by Paul Weston and George Whale on 5 March 2013. Its three candidates in the 2014 European Parliament election in the South East England constituency received 2,414 votes (0.11%). Paul Weston dissolved the party in November 2017, choosing instead to back Anne Marie Waters' new party, For Britain.
