Malicorne (aka Malicorne 1 or Colin) is the debut studio album by Malicorne, released in October 1974. It is sometimes referred to as Colin because the album is simply called "Malicorne" and because "Colin" is the first (and last) track.

Malicorne (band)

Malicorne are a French folk and folk rock band formed in September 1973 by Gabriel Yacoub, Marie Yacoub, Hughes de Courson and Laurent Vercambre. They flourished in the 1970s, broke up three times in the 1980s but re-formed twice in the early 2010s and toured from July 2012 until their last show in August 2017, after which they broke up.

Clément Janequin was a French composer of the Renaissance. He was one of the most famous composers of popular chansons of the entire Renaissance, and along with Claudin de Sermisy, was hugely influential in the development of the Parisian chanson, especially the programmatic type. The wide spread of his fame was made possible by the concurrent development of music printing.

Sinsemilia

Sinsemilia, also known as Sinsé, is a French reggae band that was formed in Grenoble, Isère in 1990. The name of the group is very similar to sinsemilla, referring to cannabis which is unfertilised and hence seedless. The band first used this name in concert at the Fête de la Musique in 1991, referring to the reggae album Sinsemilia by Black Uhuru. This was the first of more than a thousand concerts, and in the following fifteen years more than one million albums have been sold.

Gérard Lenorman is a French singer-songwriter.

The Toreador Song is the popular name for the aria "Votre toast, je peux vous le rendre", from the opera Carmen, composed by Georges Bizet to a libretto by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy. It is sung by the bullfighter Escamillo as he enters in act 2 and describes various situations in the bullring, the cheering of the crowds and the fame that comes with victory. The refrain, "Toréador, en garde", forms the middle part of the prelude to act 1 of Carmen.

L'Étoile de mer is a 1928 film directed by Man Ray and based on a short poem and longer scenario, both written by Robert Desnos. The film depicts a couple acting through scenes that are shot out of focus, and with Desnos himself as the second man in the final scene.
