After going undrafted in the 2022 NFL draft, Davis signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent on April 30, 2022. [9] After failing to secure a place in the 53-man roster, he signed with the Dallas' practice squad in August 2022. [10] On October 15, 2022, Davis was elevated to the active roster. [11] He was signed to the active roster on October 29. [12] In Week 13, in a 54–19 win over the Indianapolis Colts, Davis scored his first NFL rushing touchdown. [13] As a rookie, he played in 12 games and recorded 38 carries for 161 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. [14]

Davis was waived on August 29, 2023 and re-signed to the practice squad. [15] [16] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 17, 2024.
