Management International Review (MIR) is a business and management journal dealing with aspects of international management. Founded in 1960, MIR published its 50th volume in 2010. As of 2020, MIR's impact factor was 3.721 [1] and its Google H-Index (as of July 2020) was 57. It is published by Springer-Verlag (formerly Gabler.
Since 1960 there have been between four and eight issues per volume, and between six and eight articles per issue. MIR normally publishes six issues a year, often including select focused issues (called special issues before 2005) [2] focusing on a single aspect of international management.
Klaus Macharzina [3] served as editor in chief for twenty-five years (1980-2005) and has since been honorary editor. [2] In 2005, his former PhD candidates Joachim Wolf and Michael-Jörg Oesterle succeeded him as editors in chief. From 2005 to 2008, MIR's editorial office was at Christian Albrechts University of Kiel. Since 2008, it has been at Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. It rotates every three years.
The impact factor (IF) or journal impact factor (JIF) of an academic journal is a scientometric index calculated by Clarivate that reflects the yearly mean number of citations of articles published in the last two years in a given journal, as indexed by Clarivate's Web of Science.

Biochemical Society Transactions is a bimonthly peer-reviewed scientific journal which publishes the transactions of the annual conference and focused meetings of the Biochemical Society, together with independent meetings supported by the society. The society's annual symposium, previously published only in Biochemical Society Symposium, was first published in the Transactions in 2008. The journal was established in 1973 and is published by Portland Press, the Society's publishing arm.
Medical Mycology is a peer-reviewed medical journal published by Oxford University Press on behalf of the International Society for Human and Animal Mycology. It was established in 1962 as Sabouraudia, honoring the French dermatologist/medical mycologist, Raimond Sabouraud and publishing 3 to 4 issues per year. In 1986 the name was changed to Journal of Medical and Veterinary Mycology and the number of issues was increased to six per year. The journal obtained its current name in 1998, increasing the number of yearly issues to eight in 2005. In addition, the journal occasionally publishes supplemental issues on specific topics of current interest to the medical mycology community or the proceedings of international conferences.
The Strategic Management Society (SMS) is a professional society for the advancement of strategic management. The associate editor is Vincent Greenier, the book reviews editor is Pascal Matzler, and the student editor is Nathan Thomas. Until 2013, System published four issues per year. In 2014, it published six issues, and since 2015 it has published eight issues per year.

It is managed by the Scott Polar Research Institute and published by Cambridge University Press. The Cartographic Journal is an established peer-reviewed academic journal of record and comment that is published on behalf of the British Cartographic Society by Taylor & Francis. An official journal of the International Cartographic Association (ICA), it contains authoritative papers on all aspects of cartography: the art, science and technology of presenting, communicating and analysing spatial relationships by means of maps and other geographical representations of the Earth's surface. Critical Criminology: An International Journal, and formerly The Journal of Human Justice (JHJ), is a peer-reviewed academic journal covering criminology from unconventional perspectives. It was established in 1989 and is the official journal of the Division on Critical Criminology and Social Justice of the American Society of Criminology, and of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences Section on Critical Criminology. Its 2020 impact factor was 1.838, with a five-year impact factor of 1.774.
Cognition and Emotion is a peer-reviewed scientific journal with a specific focus on the interplay between thinking and feeling, or cognition and emotion. Within Western thought, cognition and emotion have traditionally been conceived as adversaries. However, it is also possible to understand emotion within a cognitive framework, or to treat cognition and emotion as integrated neural networks. These and other perspectives on the relation between cognition and emotion are studied and debated within the pages of Cognition & Emotion. Cognition and Emotion has an interdisciplinary orientation and publishes contributions from cognitive psychology, social psychology, personality psychology, developmental psychology, psychophysiology, and cognitive neuroscience.
