Manasi Salvi is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Marathi films and Hindi television. Salvi is best known for her portrayal of Preeti Choudhary Mansingha in Aashirwad , Khushi Gill in Kohi Apna Sa , Manasvi Goenka in Saarrthi , Avantika Deewan Kumar in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara , Nisha Verma Shukla in Woh Apna Sa and Dr. Isha Bhosale in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin . For her Marathi film Sadarakshanaay, she earned the Maharashtra State Film Award for Best Actress. [1]

Career

Salvi played the role of Avantika, Aditya's mother, in Star Plus's Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara . She started her career on small screen with Zee TV's program Aashirwad which led to the role of Khushi, one of the three protagonists, in Ekta Kapoor's Kohi Apna Sa . In 2005, she appeared in the serial Saarrthi in which she played a character named Manasvi Goenka. That same year she made her film debut in a Marathi production produced by Lata Narvekar and directed by Gajendra Ahire .

Personal life

Salvi married director Hemant Prabhu in January 2005. Prabhu also directed her series Sati...Satya Ki Shakti . [2] In 2008, she gave a birth to their daughter Omisha. In 2016, Salvi and Prabhu ended their marriage and got divorced. [3] [4]
