Marco Flores y La Jerez, (also known as #1 Banda el Jerez, #1 Banda el Jerez de Marco Flores, Banda Jerez) is a Mexican banda group from Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico formed in the late 1980s. Among Banda Jerez's many hits include "Billete Verde", "Una Mujer Casada" "Tan Bonita", "Cerveza Helada", "La Cabrona", "La Baraja", "Tamarindo", "Ordeñando la Vaca", "La Bruja" and "La Iguana". The band was named after Jerez de García Salinas, Zacatecas, Mexico, where it was founded. Banda Jerez re-works traditional ranchera songs, from Antonio Aguilar, Vicente Fernández, Heriberto Lazcano and José Alfredo Jiménez . The ensemble of members consist of vocalists Marco Antonio Flores, and Rafael Juárez, and three clarinetists, three trumpeters, three trombonists, two tenor horns, a tambora, a tarola, and a sousaphone player.
Mujeres y Mentiras was released in August 2007. The album contained the songs including "El Toro Bermejo" and "La Iguana". A second album was released in September 2008. Dicen Que Soy Borracho and contains 13 songs including "El Alegre", "El Negrito No Es Mio", "Te Advierto", "La Virginia", "El Zacatecano" and "Los Bueyes". The third album Me Vale Ver Gatos released in October 2009, contains 12 songs including "Me Vale Ver Gatos Bravos", "La Cumbia de Remo", "El Hombre Que Más Te amo","Pobre del Pobre" and "Que Suene la Banda".
2018 was a busy year for the band, releasing a total of 9 albums : “Corazón Ranchero “ (10 songs), and later that year they released “Corridazos" (10 songs) , “El Diablo Mayor” (16 songs) , “Enamorado y parrandero” (13 songs), “Me Vale Ver Gatos” (12 songs), “Me Voy A Embriagar (13 songs), “El Perro Negro” (16 songs), “Zapateado Perrón” (17 songs ) and “No Mas Por Ti Me Emborracho” (10 songs).
In 2019 they released “Asi de Facil” which contains 16 songs followed by “Mexicano Hasta La Madre” in 2020. In 2021 “Zapateado Endemoniado” with 20 songs and “Que Toque Mi Banda Jerez (13 songs). 2022 was a year for EPs releasing two 4 song EPs titled “ En Vivo Con la Vallarta Show y Marco Flores “ and “Arrasando “, followed by “La Bruja “ in 2023. That same year , the band also released an album titled “Guitarras” ( 20 songs)
In 2024 Marco Flores y La Jerez, released a new album titled “Ojitos de Amor”.

The 4th Annual Latin Grammy Awards were held in Miami at the American Airlines Arena on Wednesday, September 3, 2003. It was the first time the telecast was held outside of Los Angeles. Juanes was the night's biggest winner winning a record five awards including Album of the Year. He tied his own record winning five awards again five years later in 2008. Juan Luis Guerra and Calle 13 also tied this record in 2007 and 2009 respectively.

The 6th Annual Latin Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium on Thursday, November 3, 2005. It was the first ceremony to be broadcast by Univision in the United States. Ivan Lins was the big winner, winning two awards, including Album of the Year. He is the first and only Brazilian and Portuguese-language artist to win Album of the Year to date. Alejandro Sanz was honored with Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Juanes won three awards including Best Rock Solo Vocal Album.

Juan Luis Guerra was the night's big winner, winning 5 awards including Album of the Year. Juan Luis Guerra was honored as the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year one night prior to the telecast.

Juanes was the night's big winner, winning 5 awards including Album of the Year. He now has 17 Latin Grammy awards which is more than any other recording artist. The show was watched by an average of 5.8 millions.
Los Huracanes del Norte are a regional Mexican band. Throughout their history, they have played different styles of norteño music, such as traditional norteño from northeastern Mexico, rough Norteño from Mexico's pacific northwest, and saxophone norteño popular in Mexico's landlocked states. They are originally from Yahualica de González Gallo, Jalisco, and were raised in Tangancícuaro, Michoacán. They are currently based out of Portales, New Mexico, United States. They are one of regional Mexican music's most famous acts.
Mazizo Musical is a regional Mexican band formed in Chicago in 2003. They specialize in the duranguense genre. In 2006, they released a single called "Loco Por Ti" by the Mexican singer Marco Antonio Solís which was on their album, Nuestros Sueños.
The 11th Annual Latin Grammy Awards were held on Thursday, November 11, 2010, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was the third time the annual event had taken place at this location. The eligibility period for recordings to be nominated was July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010. Nominations were announced on September 8, 2010. On September 14, 2010, it was announced that the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year honoree would be Plácido Domingo. The big winners of the night were Camila, Juan Luis Guerra and Gustavo Cerati with three awards.
Banda Los Recoditos is a Mexican banda formed in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. It was founded in 1989 by friends and family members of Banda El Recodo by Cruz Lizárraga. Alfonso Lizárraga and Pancho Barraza, the first vocalists, were two of the more than dozen bandmembers comprising the original incarnation of the band. After releasing several albums, in 2010 the band released their album ¡Ando Bien Pedo!, featuring the single of the same title, which became a number-one hit in the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart.

The 13th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was the fifth time the awards was held at this venue and in Las Vegas. It also marks the last year in the Latin Recording Academy's contract where the Mandalay Bay Events Center hosted. It is unknown if the awards will continue to be held at this location beyond 2012.

Calibre 50 is a regional Mexican band. Formed in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, in 2010 by Edén Muñoz, the band has had several lineup changes, with the current roster consisting of lead vocalist Beto Gastélum, backing vocalist & twelve-string guitarist Tony Elizondo, diatonic accordionist Martín "Trompudo" López, sousaphonist Alejandro Gaxiola, and drummer Erick García.

Ángela Aguilar Álvarez Alcalá is a Mexican and American singer. She was born in Los Angeles while her mother was accompanying her father, Pepe Aguilar, on tour. Aguilar gained notable recognition after performing "La Llorona" at the 19th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in 2018. Her paternal grandparents are the actors and singers from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre.
The 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony was held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the Michelob Ultra Arena, Las Vegas to honor the best musical releases within Latin music released from June 1, 2021, to May 31, 2022. The nominations were announced via a virtual livestream on September 20, 2022, presented by Kany García, Christina Aguilera, Banda Los Sebastianes, Becky G, Yotuel, Criolo, Nicky Jam, Akapellah, Luísa Sonza, Sebastián Yatra and Camilo. The three-hour ceremony aired live on Univision and was hosted by singers Anitta, Luis Fonsi, Laura Pausini and Thalía.
