The Holy See, also called the See of Rome, Petrine See, Apostolic See, and Government of Vatican City, is the jurisdiction of the Pope in his role as the bishop of Rome and sovereign of Vatican City. It includes the apostolic episcopal see of the Diocese of Rome, which has ecclesiastical jurisdiction over the Catholic Church, and sovereignty and governance over the city-state known as Vatican City.

The Dicastery for Legislative Texts, formerly named Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, is a dicastery of the Roman Curia. The Diocese of San Marco Argentano-Scalea is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in Italy. Its episcopal see is Cosenza, Calabria. The diocese existed as the Diocese of San Marco since at least 1171, when the name of Bishop Ruben appears in a document. It is now a suffragan in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Cosenza-Bisignano.

Giuseppe Versaldi is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who was the prefect of the Congregation for Catholic Education from 2015 until that body was merged into the new Dicastery for Culture and Education in 2022. He served as president of the Prefecture for the Economic Affairs of the Holy See from 2011 to 2015. Before that he was Bishop of Alessandria. Pope Benedict XVI elevated him to the rank of cardinal on 18 February 2012.
