Marcos Madrigal was three years old when he started studying piano. In 2007, he graduated with honors from the University of Arts of Cuba (ISA) in Havana, under the guidance of the renowned professor and pianist Teresita Junco. He attended Master Classes at the Conservatory of Southern Switzerland in Lugano and at the International Piano Academy Lake Como, where he had the chance to study with Andreas Staier, Dimitri Bashkirov, Fou Ts'ong, John Perry, Malcolm Bilson and especially with his mentor William Grant Naboré.
He has performed in recitals, and as a soloist with orchestra, in many of the most renowned concert halls of the world, such as the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires, the Auditorium Parco della Musica of Rome, the Queen Elizabeth Hall of London, [1] the National Concert Hall of Dublin, [2] the Auditorium Manuel de Falla of Granada, [3] the Bucharest Opera House, [4] the Volkstheater of Vienna, the Teatro Rossini of Pesaro, [5] the Teatro delle Muse of Ancona, [6] the Teatro Gentile da Fabriano of Fabriano, [7] the Teatro Góngora of Córdoba [8] and the Qintai Grand Theater of Wuhan, [9] working with notable conductors, such as Claudio Abbado, Leo Brouwer, Paul Mann, Enrique Diemecke and Lorenzo Ramos.
He has also collaborated in several projects with Oscar-winning composer Nicola Piovani, as well as with other distinguished composers in the film and theater world.
In 2015, he gave his celebrated debut in the United States at the Finney Hall in Oberlin, [10] Ohio.
Since 2017 he has been the Artistic Director of Habana Clásica, an international classical music festival held in Havana. [11]
He has received numerous awards in several international competitions, among which are the International Piano Competition "Premio Jaén" [12] (Spain), the "Panama International Piano Competition" [13] (Panama), the International Piano Competition "María Clara Cullel" [14] (Costa Rica), and the International Piano Competition "Ignacio Cervantes" (Cuba).
In 2012, he was awarded the International Award "Gold Medal Maison des Artistes", granted by the Association for Culture, Arts, Science and Social Commitment at the Sapienza University of Rome.
Among his most recent recordings are Homo Ludens, with M° Leo Brouwer; Concert for Four Hands, with Cuban pianist Teresita Junco; the Opera Omnia for Piano and Orchestra of José María Vitier ; a monograph dedicated to Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona, Cuba, [15] which was critically acclaimed and won numerous awards, among which are the Choc de Classica (France), the Melómano de Oro (Spain), the Cubadisco 2016 (Cuba), and the 5 stars of Diapason (France).
Furthermore, he has recorded live concerts and has participated in several programs for many famous Radio and TV channels all over the world, such as the BBC, [16] Vatican Radio, Radiotelevisione svizzera (RSI), Radio Suisse Romande (RSR), and the Italian Rai Radio 3, which in 2013 broadcast a 5-episode documentary dedicated to his life with the title “Piano Libre – The other music of Cuba”. Rita Aurelia Fulcida Montaner y Facenda, known as Rita Montaner, was a Cuban singer, pianist and actress. In Cuban parlance, she was a vedette, and was well known in Mexico City, Paris, Miami and New York, where she performed, filmed and recorded on numerous occasions. She was one of Cuba's most popular artists between the late 1920s and 1950s, renowned as Rita de Cuba. Though classically trained as a soprano for zarzuelas, her mark was made as a singer of Afro-Cuban salon songs including "The Peanut Vendor" and "Siboney".
José Carlos Cocarelli is a Brazilian classical pianist resident in France. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he was a pupil of Adele Marcus and Merces de Silva Telles. He was awarded second prize on the 1984 Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition and on the 1989 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. He won the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in 1985 and the Concours Long-Thibaud in 1986.

Adolfo Odnoposoff was an Argentine-born-and-raised cellist of Russian ancestry who performed in concerts for 5 decades in South, Central, and North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Israel, and the former USSR. He had performed as principal cellist in the Israel Philharmonic and many of the important orchestras of Latin America. He had soloed with major orchestras under conductors that include Arturo Toscanini, Erich Kleiber, Fritz Busch, Juan José Castro, Rafael Kubelik, Victor Tevah, Luis Herrera de la Fuente, Carlos Chavez, Paul Kletzki, Luis Ximénez Caballero (es), Willem van Otterloo, Sir John Barbirolli, Eduardo Mata, Antal Doráti, Jorge Sarmientos (es), Erich Kleiber, George Singer (1908–1980), Ricardo del Carmen (1937-2003), Anshel Brusilow, Pau Casals and Enrique Gimeno. He also performed a Khachaturian work under the direction of Khachaturian.
Adolfo Guzmán was a Cuban pianist, music director, arranger and composer. During his 40-year-long career he directed several important Cuban ensembles, including Orquesta Riverside and Los Modernistas, as well as prominent radio and cabaret orchestras.
The bowed string instruments have been always present in Cuba since its discovery, first as the viol or bowed vihuela and at a later time as the Italian violin. As other instruments and the culture in general, also the violin enjoyed in Cuba a period of great relevance during the 19th century. The violin was part of the instrumental ensembles that accompanied the Contradance and the Dance, the first Cuban musical genres, as well as other subsequent genres as the Danzón and the Cha cha cha. The violin also intoned some of the most beautiful melodies composed in Cuba, such as "La Bella Cubana" by José White. At all times, the Cuban violinists have been prominent representatives of the Cuban music throughout the entire world.

Evgeny Konnov is a Russian pianist. He is the winner of first prizes in more than 30 international competitions, including first prize and public prize at the 64th Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona 2018, first prize and public prize at the 31st International Ettore Pozzoli Piano Competition in Seregno 2019, first prize at the 14th Unisa International Piano Competition in South Africa 2020. In the season 2020/2021 he was an artist in residence at the Staatstheater Augsburg. His debut album was released by Naxos in 2022 with piano sonatas by the Catalan composer Antonio Soler and was highly acclaimed by the international press.
