Marcy Blum is an American author, event planner, and owner of Marcy Blum Associates in New York City.
Blum is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and began her career in the restaurant business, later creating a segue into the then-developing field of event planning. [1] In 1986 [2] she became one of the first in the industry to develop the vocation into a successful career [3] [1]
Marcy Blum has been named one of the top wedding planners in the world by Vogue Magazine, [4] [5] Harper's Bazaar , [6] and Martha Stewart Weddings. [7] New York magazine described Blum as a "desired wedding planner to the wealthy and famous." [8]
