MTV3 is a Finnish commercial television channel owned and operated by the media company MTV Oy, originally launched in 13 August 1957 as a programming block, becoming its own channel on 1 January 1993. It had the biggest audience share of all Finnish TV channels until Yle TV1 took the lead. MTV actually stands for Mainos-TV, due to the channel carrying advertising for revenue. Number 3 was added later, when the channel was allocated the third nationwide television channel and it generally became known as "Channel Three"—Finnish Broadcasting Company's Yle TV1 and Yle TV2 being the first two—and also to distinguish it from the later MTV Finland, which is a Finnish version of Paramount's MTV channel. From 1957 until 2001, the channel's logo was a stylised owl, changed to an owl's eye after an image renewal in 2001, which was then used until 2013. MTV3 has about 500 employees. It is also known as Maikkari. From 1986 to 1993, Kolmoskanava was a precursor to MTV3. It was shut down at midnight on December 31, and MTV3 immediately started broadcasting.

Olga Pilipova is an athlete from Kazakhstan. She competes in archery. Pilipova represented Kazakhstan at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She placed 48th in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 616. In the first round of elimination, she faced 17th-ranked Naomi Folkard of Great Britain. Pilipova lost 139-128 in the 18-arrow match, placing 57th overall in women's individual archery. She was born in Ural'sk, Kazakh SSR.

The women's individual archery event at the 2012 Olympic Games was held from 27 July to 2 August 2012 at Lord's Cricket Ground in London in the United Kingdom. The event was one of four which comprised the 2012 Olympic archery programme of sports and was the eleventh time the women's individual competition was contested as an Olympic event. Forty nations qualified for the competition, sending a total of sixty-four archers to compete. The defending Olympic champion from 2008 was Zhang Juanjuan of China, who did not compete following her retirement in 2010.
Amy Oliver is an archer from Great Britain. A competitor at the 2012 Summer Olympics, she won a silver medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, a bronze medal at the 2011 World Archery Championships, and was the women's individual recurve champion at the World Field Archery Championships in 2016. Oliver announced her retirement from the British national archery team in 2017.
Finland competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia from 7 to 23 February 2014. The Finnish team consisted of 103 competitors who participated in alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing, ice hockey, ski jumping, snowboarding, and speed skating.
Ane Marcelle Gomes dos Santos is a Brazilian competitive archer. She won a bronze medal in the women's individual recurve tournament at the 2014 Pan American Archery Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and eventually finished as one of the top 16 finalists at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Dos Santos currently trains under the tutelage of head coach Evandro Azevedo for the Brazilian national squad, while shooting at Iris Archery Range on the outskirts of her hometown Maricá in Rio de Janeiro.

Bryony Michaela Pitman is a British archer competing in women's recurve events. She won the gold medal in the women's recurve team event at the 2019 European Games held in Minsk, Belarus. Earlier in 2019, she won the bronze medal in the women's team recurve event at the World Archery Championships held in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.
Junes Lokka is an anti-immigration activist. From 2017 to 2021, Lokka served in the Oulu city council from the True Finnish Joint List (ASYL). His activity on social media is focused on video broadcasts. Lokka is taking part in the 2024 European Parliament elections as a candidate for the Freedom Alliance.
