Maria Nayler (born 26 March 1967[ citation needed ]) is a British singer.
In the early 1990s, Nayler was part of Ultraviolet, who released two singles, "Kites" (1990) and "I Wish That" (1991). In 1995, she appeared as featured vocalist on Sasha's trance track "Be as One". It received a release through Deconstruction Records in early 1996, peaking at number 17 on the UK Singles Chart. [1]
Later that same year, Nayler teamed up with electronic dance musician Robert Miles, who applied her vocals to the international hit song "One and One", the third single taken from Miles' album Dreamland . "One and One" topped the charts in Italy and Belgium and peaked at No. 3 in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, and Norway.
In 1998, Nayler signed a solo recording contract with Deconstruction and released "Naked and Sacred", a cover version of a Chynna Phillips song. Featuring the B-side "The Other Side", produced by Sasha, as well as a speed garage remix from Tim Deluxe, "Naked and Sacred" reached No. 32 in the UK. [1] In July 1998, she was the support act for Kylie Minogue on the only UK dates of her Intimate and Live Tour – at the Shepherd's Bush Empire.
The double A-side "Love Is the God"/"Will You Be with Me" was issued in August 1998 and peaked at No. 65. [1] An album sampler containing "Naked and Sacred", the full length version of "Love Is the God" and the original version of "Will You Be with Me" was released in 1998 which also contained the track "Inside My Universe". A sampler CD released by Deconstruction also contained the track "Who's Loving Who".
In 2000, Nayler returned with "Angry Skies", which was produced by Tilt. The track reached No. 42 on the UK Singles Chart. [1] The second 12" also featured the Sasha-produced "She". In 2007, "Angry Skies" was re-released on Lost Language.
In 2007, Nayler appeared in series 21 episode 1 of Never Mind the Buzzcocks as a mystery guest. [2]
In 2009, Nayler returned by performing the vocals on the trance song "We Belong", composed by Ferry Corsten and featured on A State of Trance .

OceanLab is a vocal trance group formed in London, England, in 2000, consisting of vocalist Justine Suissa and the three members of Above & Beyond: Jono Grant, Paavo Siljamäki, and Tony McGuinness. After a several year hiatus, the group announced their return with a new single at Above & Beyond's ABGT150 concert in September 2015.
Ferry Corsten is a Dutch disc jockey, record producer and remixer. He is well known for producing many pioneering trance tracks during the 1990s–2000s under his numerous aliases, including System F, Moonman, Pulp Victim and Gouryella. In recent years, he has shifted to a broader electronic music style, playing everything from progressive house to uplifting trance; and hosts his own weekly radio show, Resonation Radio. Corsten routinely plays at events and festivals all over the world including Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, and many others, and has been consistently ranked among DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll, having placed at rank 5 in 2004 and 2005, 6 in 2006 and 2008; and most recently at 53 for 2020.
Vincent de Moor is a Dutch trance artist. He is most notable for his work with the record producer Ferry Corsten under the working title, "Veracocha," and for his 2001 single, "Fly Away".
Far from the Maddening Crowds is the debut studio album by British electronic music artist Chicane, released on 20 October 1997 through Xtravaganza Recordings. It is highly regarded as a seminal release in the trance music community, and was highly sought after, having been shelved for licensing issues, until its re-release on 18 October 2007. The album includes Chicane's debut single, "Offshore", as well as other singles "Sunstroke", "Lost You Somewhere" and "Red Skies". The album charted in the UK on release, peaking at number 49.
Gouryella is a solo trance project of Dutch musician Ferry Corsten. Gouryella was originally a Dutch production team, comprising Corsten and Tiësto, who later left. The word itself means "heaven" in an Australian aboriginal language.
"Cowboy Style" is a song recorded by Australian recording artist and songwriter Kylie Minogue, for her sixth studio album Impossible Princess (1997). The song was released as the fourth and final single on 5 October 1998 through Mushroom. Minogue co-wrote the track with Steve Anderson and Dave Seaman while Brothers in Rhythm produced it. Backed by guitars, synthesisers and drum instruments, "Cowboy Style" is a Celtic pop track in which Minogue sings about her relationship with Stephane Sednaoui. Critical response to "Cowboy Style" was positive; some critics praised the song's composition, Minogue's song writing and highlighted it as a career stand out track. Released in Australia and New Zealand, the song charted at number 39 on the Australian Singles Chart.
Mixes is the fifth remix album by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue. It was released on 3 August 1998, by Deconstruction Records. The album contains remixes of tracks from her sixth studio album, Impossible Princess (1997). The remixes were done by DJs such as Brothers in Rhythm, Junior Vasquez, and Todd Terry. The remixes was influenced by various genres of dance music, such as electronica and dance-pop. The album was originally scheduled for a 1999 release, but Deconstruction pre-poned the release date of Mixes in the United Kingdom to August 1998, since the Australian counterpart, Impossible Remixes (1998), had been released earlier than its original date. With favourable critical reception, Mixes charted in the United Kingdom at number sixty-three on the UK Albums Chart, her highest remix album at the time. The Brothers in Rhythm remix of "Too Far" was released as a promotional single in the UK and North America.

The Qat Collection is the debut studio album by Welsh DJ Sasha. It was released on 23 August 1994 through Deconstruction Records. The album features co-production from Tom Frederikse and was released with two singles: "Magic" and "Higher Ground", both featuring vocals from Sam Mollison. Upon release, the album charted on the UK Albums Chart, reaching position 56. Later in 1994, an extended revision of the album was released, titled The Qat Collection Version 2.
Renaissance: The Mix Collection is the debut mix album by British DJ duo Sasha & John Digweed. It was released on 14 October 1994 and was the first in a series of mix albums released under the brand of the Renaissance nightclub. Richard Mowatt, commonly known by his stage name Solarstone, is an Irish trance DJ and producer based in Wales. The music project Solarstone was founded as a trio, and also used the pseudonyms Young Parisians, Liquid State and Z2. Over the years, Solarstone has developed a reputation for keeping to the original and classic trance sound. He is considered to be a veteran by fans in the trance music scene. Since 2012, Solarstone has been pushing forward a Pure Trance movement through tours where he aims to keep the trance genre true to its roots.
"Out of the Blue" is a 1999 trance single by Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten, under the alias of System F. It received an original release in the Netherlands under Corsten's own record label, Tsunami, and a full release in the UK with Essential Recordings. It reached number 14 on the UK Singles Chart and entered the Top 40 in the Netherlands. It is often regarded as a seminal release in trance music, and helped shape the genre over the following years.
