Mariama Goodman (born 25 December 1977) is an English dancer and singer who is currently a member of girl group Honeyz. She is also known for being a former member of the girl group Solid HarmoniE.
Goodman began her pop career in 1996 signed to Jive Records in the United States with Solid HarmoniE. The group had the same management as, and toured regularly with, NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. The group disbanded in 2000 but reunited (without Goodman) in 2013.
When Solid HarmoniE split, Goodman returned to the UK and was invited to join the Honeyz alongside Célena Cherry and Naima Belkhiati. Former member Heavenli Abdi had left the Honeyz after two singles. The album Wonder No. 8 went gold and spawned five top ten singles: "Won't Take It Lying Down", "Never Let You Down", "Love of a Lifetime", "End of the Line" and "Finally Found". At the Maxim Awards in 2000, they won the prize for Best British Girl Band and were also nominated in that year's BRIT and MOBO Awards. Heavenli Abdi returned to the Honeyz when Goodman left and they released two more singles which charted at number 24 and 28. The band then split.
Despite Celena Cherry insisting in 2009 that there was "zero" chance of Honeyz getting back together, [1] it was confirmed in October 2012 that Honeyz would be reuniting for The Big Reunion documentary on ITV2 in January 2013. [2] Although Belkhiati was in the original lineup, she decided not to take part in the reformation, so Goodman took her place. The series began airing on 31 January 2013 and followed the group rehearsing for two weeks ahead of one major comeback performance at the London Hammersmith Apollo on 26 February 2013. The bands also went on an arena tour.
Goodman moved to the United States for two years, and when she returned to the UK she began her training in midwifery. She graduated with a First Class Honours degree and is working as a midwife. [3]
She has a daughter, born in 2011. [4]
Mariama married actor Andrew-Lee Potts on 20 August 2014. [5] The couple had a son in 2016 Goodman and Potts have since divorced.
Liberty X are an English/Irish pop group originally consisting of Michelle Heaton, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young. Since 2017, Heaton, Taylor and Young have performed as a girl group trio.
B*Witched are an Irish girl group consisting of twin sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O'Carroll. Originally active between 1997 and 2002, they enjoyed success in both Europe and North America between 1998 and 2002, releasing two albums and eight singles, all of which made the UK Top 20. Their first four singles, "C'est la Vie", "Rollercoaster", "To You I Belong" and "Blame It on the Weatherman", all reached number one in the UK Singles Chart and the group having sold over 3 million albums worldwide.

Kevin Ian Simm is an English singer and songwriter. He is best known as former member of Liberty X (2001–2007) and current vocalist of Wet Wet Wet. Simm also won The Voice UK in 2016.

The group had five UK top 10 hits between 1998 and 2000, with "Finally Found" (1998), "End of the Line" (1998), "Love of a Lifetime" (1999), "Never Let You Down" (1999) and "Won't Take It Lying Down" (2000). Their debut album was certified Gold by BPI. The Honeyz formed in 1998 with the original line-up consisting of Celena Cherry, Heavenli Abdi and Naima Belkhiati. Former Solid Harmonie member Mariama Goodman replaced Abdi on April 1999. Goodman left on August 2000 with Abdi rejoining, before the group disbanded for the first time in 2003.

Lindsay Gael Christian Elaine Armaou is a Greek-born Irish actress and singer. She is best known as a member of girl group B*Witched and for her roles as Sister Georgina in the crime thriller film The Smoke (2014) and Marlene Flynn in the Netflix drama Stay Close (2021).

"Finally Found" is the debut single of British girl group Honeyz. It was released on 24 August 1998 by Mercury and 1st Avenue as the lead single from their debut album, Wonder No. 8 (1998). The song was their most successful single in the UK and worldwide, peaking at number four on the UK Singles Chart and earning platinum status in Australia, where it peaked at number three. It reached the top 20 in Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand, and Sweden.
"I Don't Know" is a song by Honeyz. The single was originally intended to be the lead single from the group's second studio album, Harmony, although the album was later cancelled. The single later featured on the group's 2006 compilation album The Collection. "I Don't Know" peaked at number 28 on the UK Singles Chart and number 11 on the UK R&B Chart in 2001. The song contains vocals from former member Mariama Goodman, though released after her departure from the group.

It was their last single at the time with co-founding member Heavenli Abdi, following her departure weeks before the song's release. The song reached number nine on the UK Singles Chart, number 26 in Ireland and number 64 in Australia. The "Rude Boy" remix was released as a single, and a slightly different Rude Boy mix was included on both the original 1998 album and 1999 reissue, however the original version was released for the first time on the group's 2006 The Collection album.

"Got 2 Have Ya" is the debut single by British pop girl group Solid HarmoniE. The song was released in 1996 by Ultrapop as an eventual non-album track. It was written by Alex Trime, Sven Jordan, Heavenli Abdi and Gary Carolla. It was produced by Trime'n DELgado.
