Mariana Larrabure de Orbegoso is a Peruvian designer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who became "Miss Peru World" 1998 at the age of 22 years. She has also made a career in modeling in Peru. [1]

Personal life

Born in Lima city, Larrabure de Orbegoso became Miss Peru in 1998 representing to La Libertad Region with the title of Miss La Libertad in the Peruvian national contest. [2] She was top 10 in Miss World 1999. [3] Previously she started modeling at the early age of 14. She also studied to be a professional chef in Le Cordon Bleu Peru Culinary Arts School, she also attended courses of Graphic Design and went to Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de Bellas Artes to learn Painting and Sculpture. Miss Perú 2010, the 58th Miss Perú pageant was held at the on May 22, 2010. That year, 22 candidates were competing for the national crown. The chosen winners represented Peru at the Miss Universe 2010 and Miss World 2010. The rest of the finalists would enter in different pageants.

The 18th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico on August 20, 2011. Thirty-four contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Karina González from Aguascalientes who later competed in Miss Universe 2012 in United States where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 10. The Historic Centre of Trujillo is the main urban area and the most important center of development and unfolding in the Peruvian city of Trujillo located in La Libertad Region. The whole process of its original urban fabric is in elliptical shape surrounded by España Avenue that was built in the wake of the Wall of Trujillo. Its main products are the alfajores requested by tourists as classic sweet souvenirs of the city of the everlasting spring. The final of the Miss Perú 2015 pageant was held on the night June 2, 2015 at the Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel. It was the first year under the new Miss Peru Organization, marking the comeback of Jessica Newton as national director. The first cut to a Top 20 was chosen on May 2, in a press conference. Later on May 14, the second cut to a Top 10 and Special Awards was chosen during a live broadcast by América Televisión and later to a Top 5. On a private ceremony, an eventual Top 3 was decided to participate for the national crown.
