Marina Downey is a camogie player, [1] winner of five All Ireland medals and captain of the Kilkenny team that won the National Camogie League in 1993. Enjoyed success at club level when she played on the Lisdowney team that won the club championship in 1994.
She joined the Kilkenny team in 1988 and won four All Ireland medals in succession by 1991, adding a fifth in 1994. She played her last All Ireland final in 2001. [2]
The All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship is a competition for inter-county teams in the women's field sport of game of camogie played in Ireland. The series of games are organised by the Camogie Association and are played during the summer months with the All-Ireland Camogie Final being played in Croke Park, Dublin. The prize for the winning team is the O'Duffy Cup.
Angela Downey-Browne is a retired Irish sportsperson. She played camogie with her local clubs, St Paul's based in Kilkenny city and Lisdowney, and was a member of the Kilkenny senior inter-county team from 1970-95. Downey is regarded as the greatest player in the history of the game.

Liz Neary is a retired Irish sportsperson. She played camogie at various times with her local clubs St. Paul's and Austin Stacks and was a member of the Kilkenny senior inter-county team from 1970 until 1987. Neary is regarded as one of the greatest players of all-time.
The All-Ireland Club Camogie Championship is a competition for club teams in the Irish women’s field sport of camogie. It is contested by the senior club champions of the leading counties and organised by An Cumann Camógaíochta.
Mary Leacy is an Irish sportsperson. She won camogie All Star awards in 2004, 2007 and 2010. She plays camogie with her local club Oulart–The Ballagh and has been a member of the Wexford senior inter-county team since 2001. Leacy captained Wexford to the All-Ireland title in 2007 and won further All Irelands in 2010 and 2011, and a member of the Team of the Championship for 2011.
