The LX Legislature of the Congress of Mexico met from September 1, 2006, to September 1, 2009. All members of both the lower and upper houses of Congress were elected in the elections of July 2006.
Ruth Zavaleta Salgado is a Mexican politician. She was affiliated with the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) until November 2009 but changed and is currently part of the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico. She is a founding member of the PRD and the first female PRD politician to serve as President of the Chamber of Deputies 2007-2008.
Cuauhtémoc Sandoval Ramírez was a Mexican politician, social anthropologist and founding member of the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD). He was twice elected as a federal deputy and once a Senator. He served in the Mexican congress as Secretary of Foreign Relations, a member of the National Defense Committee and he is on the Population, Borders and Immigration Issues committee. Cuauhtémoc Sandoval Ramírez was the son of Pablo Sandoval Cruz, a distinguished politician in the State of Guerrero (Mexico). He had a degree in Social Anthropology, and was a founding member of the PRD. He is survived by two sons, Ernesto Sandoval Pastrana and Cuauhtémoc Sandoval Pastrana.

Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros is a Mexican politician affiliated with the National Regeneration Movement (MORENA) who serves as the Governor of Tlaxcala. Formerly she served as a member of the Labor Party (PT) as a federal deputy in the LXIV Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing Tlaxcala's third district; she had previously been a senator for Tlaxcala and mayor of the state capital, Tlaxcala de Xicohténcatl.

Armando Ríos Piter is a Mexican politician who served in the Senate during the 63rd and 64th sessions of Congress, representing Guerrero for the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD); while a senator, he became an independent and briefly pursued an independent presidential campaign. He also served in the Chamber of Deputies during the 61st Congress, representing Guerrero's third district.

In the 2012 general election he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies to represent the first district of Guerrero during the 62nd Congress. He had previously served in the Congress of Guerrero.
Jorge Salgado Parra is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD). In the 2012 general election he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies to represent the seventh district of Guerrero during the 62nd Congress.
Ángel Heladio Aguirre Rivero is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) and formerly with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served as governor of Guerrero from 2011 until he stepped down on 23 October 2014. He has been a member of both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. He served as interim governor of Guerrero between 1996 and 1999. He served a later term as governor of Guerrero between 2011 and 2014. In October 2014 he resigned after protests related to the Iguala mass kidnapping.
David Jiménez Rumbo is a Mexican politician. He currently serves as a federal deputy in the LXIII Legislature of the Mexican Congress, representing Guerrero from the fifth electoral region. From 2006 to 2012, he was a senator in the LX and LXI Legislatures.

He has been elected to the Chamber of Deputies on two occasions: in the 1997 mid-terms and in the 2009 mid-terms, both times for Guerrero's first district. He has also served as a local deputy in the Congress of Guerrero.

Xavier Olea Muñoz was a Mexican lawyer, prosecutor, diplomat, and politician. He briefly served as the Governor of Guerrero from January 31, 1975, until April 1, 1975, after his predecessor, Governor Israel Nogueda Otero, was removed from office. Olea Muñoz also served as the Ambassador of Mexico to several countries. In 1976, he was appointed Ambassador of Mexico to France. He then served as Ambassador to Japan, as well as concurrent Ambassador to South Korea, from 1977 until 1979.

Rubén Figueroa Alcocer is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He has served in both chambers of Congress and was governor of Guerrero from 1993 to 1996.
