Tenley Emma Albright is an American former figure skater and surgeon. She is the 1956 Olympic champion, the 1952 Olympic silver medalist, the 1953 and 1955 World Champion, the 1953 and 1955 North American champion, and the 1952–1956 U.S. national champion. Albright is also a graduate of Harvard Medical School. In 2015, she was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame.

Egypt, which is represented by the Egyptian Olympic Committee (EOC), competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, United States from July 19 to August 4, 1996. Twenty-nine Egyptian athletes, twenty-seven men and two women, competed in boxing, handball, judo, rowing, shooting, swimming, weightlifting, and wrestling, but the nation did not win any medals.

He is a native of Wilton, Fairfield County, Connecticut, and graduated from Saint Lukes School in New Canaan. He is a World University champion and a Pan-American champion. He has also placed in the 1991 World Championships, U.S; Open champion, Collegiate Champion, numerous national championships, and has also been inducted into the U.S. Judo Hall of Fame. Joseph appeared in numerous publications, including the Judo Journal Newspaper, People Magazine, and United States Judo Federation Newspaper. He now lives in Litchfield County, Connecticut, with his children.

Maria de Lourdes Mazzoleni Portela is a Brazilian middleweight judoka. She won bronze medals at the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games, and competed at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. At the 2012 Olympics, she lost her first match to Yuri Alvear. At the 2016 Games, she beat Assmaa Niang in the first round, before losing to Bernadette Graf in the second.
Celita Valerie Schutz is an American judoka who competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics, in the 2000 Summer Olympics, and in the 2004 Summer Olympics on the women's team. She is a graduate of Yale University. class of 1990.

Brett Barron was a member of the 1984 US Olympic judo team, from San Mateo. He would earn 5 gold in US National Championships and 5 bronze medals. He injured his shoulder in the 1984 Olympic Games but tied for 9th place. Barron was the 2004 Olympic judo team coach.
