Mark Dutton is an Australian motor racing engineer [1] and current team manager of Triple Eight Race Engineering. He has engineered Jamie Whincup to five Supercars series championships. In 2014, he became team manager of Triple Eight.
After studying a mechanical engineering degree at the Queensland University of Technology, Mark Dutton became a race engineer at Larkham Motorsport in 2001.
After Larkham Motorsport, Dutton went to Briggs Motorsport after a break from the sport. In 2007, he became the lead engineer of the Triple Eight Falcon driven by Jamie Whincup. [2] That year, Whincup finished second in the championship behind Garth Tander. Dutton then engineered Whincup to five series championships in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
In 2014, Dutton was promoted to team manager of Triple Eight Race Engineering under team principal and co-founder Roland Dane.
Steven James Richards is a New Zealand-Australian racing driver, currently competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship.
Craig Andrew LowndesOAM is an Australian racing driver in the Supercars Championship competing in the Holden ZB Commodore for Triple Eight Race Engineering. Lowndes is a three-time V8 Supercar champion, a five-time Barry Sheene Medalist, and a seven-time winner of Australia's most prestigious motor race, the Bathurst 1000 and two-time winner of the Bathurst 12 Hour.
The Adelaide 500 is an annual motor racing event for Supercars, held on the streets of the east end of Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. It was previously known by its longtime former name as the Clipsal 500 Adelaide or colloquially as "Clipsal", after the sponsor, Clipsal. Mark "Frosty" Winterbottom is an Australian professional racing driver. He currently competes in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, driving the No. 18 Holden ZB Commodore for Charlie Schwerkolt Racing. His career highlights include winning the 2013 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, twice winning the Sandown 500 and receiving the Mike Kable Young Gun Award in 2003. Winterbottom has also won his maiden championship title in the 2015 International V8 Supercars Championship, making it the first title for Ford in five years.
Jamie Whincup is an Australian professional racing driver competing in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. He currently drives the No. 88 Holden ZB Commodore for Triple Eight Race Engineering. He won seven Supercars titles, four Bathurst 1000 victories, and a Bathurst 12 Hour victory. Whincup is the all-time record holder in the Supercars Championship for race wins, at 119 career wins. He is also the first driver to win the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy twice at Pukekohe Park Raceway in Auckland, New Zealand.
Triple Eight Race Engineering is an Australian motor racing team competing in the Supercars Championship. The team has been the only Brisbane based V8 Supercar team since its formation, originally operating out of the former Briggs Motor Sport workshop in Bowen Hills before moving to Banyo in 2009. Since taking over the former Briggs Motor Sport team during the 2003 season the team has won the Supercars Championship eight times, the team's championship eight times and the Bathurst 1000 seven times.

The race was on Sunday, 9 October 2011 at the Mount Panorama Circuit just outside Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia and was Race 20 of the 2011 International V8 Supercars Championship. It was the fifteenth running of the Australian 1000 race, first held after the organisational split over the Bathurst 1000 that occurred in 1997. It was also the 55th race for which the lineage can be traced back to the 1960 Armstrong 500 held at Phillip Island.

The 2012 Trading Post Perth Challenge was a motor racing event for the Australian sedan-based V8 Supercars. It was the fourth event of the 2012 International V8 Supercars Championship, featuring Races 7, 8 & 9. The unusual three race format is a staple of the Barbagallo Raceway event, in part caused by the different timezone of Western Australia compared to eastern states. It was held on the weekend of 4–6 May at the Barbagallo Raceway, in Perth, Western Australia. It was also the first time the series utilised the new pitlane on the infield of the circuit as opposed to the original one on the outside of the circuit.

The event was held at the Mount Panorama Circuit near Bathurst, New South Wales, and consisted of one race of 1000 kilometres in length. It was the eleventh event of fourteen in the 2016 International V8 Supercars Championship and hosted Race 21 of the season. It was also the second event of the 2016 Enduro Cup. The event marked ten years since the first awarding of the Peter Brock Trophy, which was introduced following the death of nine-time race winner Peter Brock in September 2006.

Roland William Surrey Dane is an Irish-Australian automotive businessman who is best known for co-founding motorsport teams Triple Eight Racing in Britain and Triple Eight Race Engineering in Australia, of which he remains team principal.
