Mark James Julian Faber (15 August 1950 –10 December 1991) was an English cricketer who played for Oxford University and Sussex from 1970 to 1976.
Faber attended Summer Fields School. [1] He appeared in 78 first-class matches as a right-handed batsman. He scored 3,009 runs with a highest score of 176 among three centuries. [2]
In 1976,Faber requested a release from his contract to join his family's insurance business. [3]
Faber died in 1991 from complications following a leg operation (from an old cricket injury during the early 1980s). [4]
David Ivon Gower is an English cricket commentator and former cricketer who was captain of the England cricket team during the 1980s. Described as one of the most stylish left-handed batsmen of his era,Gower played 117 Test matches and 114 One Day Internationals (ODI) scoring 8,231 and 3,170 runs,respectively. Arthur Edward Robert Gilligan was an English first-class cricketer who captained the England cricket team nine times in 1924 and 1925,winning four Test matches,losing four and drawing one. In first-class cricket,he played as an amateur,mainly for Cambridge University and Sussex,and captained the latter team between 1922 and 1929. A fast bowler and hard-hitting lower order batsman,Gilligan completed the double in 1923 and was one of Wisden's Cricketers of the Year for 1924. When his playing career ended,he held several important positions in cricket,including that of England selector and president of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). A popular figure within cricket,he was widely regarded as sporting and friendly.
Graham Neil Yallop is a former Australian international cricketer. Yallop played Test and One Day International cricket for the Australia national cricket team between 1976 and 1984,captaining the side briefly during the World Series Cricket era in the late 1970s. A technically correct left-handed batsman,Yallop played domestically for Victoria,invariably batting near the top of the order and led Victoria to two Sheffield Shield titles. He was the first player to wear a full helmet in a Test match.

Norman Stewart "Mandy" Mitchell-Innes was an amateur cricketer for Somerset,who played in one Test match for England in 1935. Between 1931 and 1949 Mitchell-Innes played 132 first-class matches,appearing 69 times for Somerset,and 43 times for Oxford University. In these matches he scored 6,944 runs,including 13 centuries and a top score of 207. He was well-regarded for the grace of his batting,but his cricket career was limited by both hay fever and his overseas work commitments.
Robert Samuel Langer was an Australian cricketer who played for Western Australia in the 1970s and 1980s. He was a left-handed middle order batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler. Langer's first-class career extended from 1973–1974 until 1981–1982. He made 2,756 first-class runs in 44 matches at an average of 43.06 with a highest score of 150 not out. In 15 limited overs matches,his best score was 99 not out in a total of 338 runs at 28.16 average. Langer scored five first-class hundreds and 18 half-centuries during his career.

Edward Desmond Russell Eagar was an English amateur first-class cricketer who played county cricket for Gloucestershire and Hampshire. Eagar debuted for Gloucestershire whilst still a schoolboy at Cheltenham College,before his matriculation to the University of Oxford,where he played first-class cricket for Oxford University Cricket Club. Following service in the Second World War with the South Wales Borderers,Eagar was appointed as captain and secretary of Hampshire in 1946.
