Heath Hilton Streak was a Zimbabwean cricketer and cricket coach who played for and captained the Zimbabwe national cricket team. He was the all time leading wicket taker for Zimbabwe in Test cricket with 216 wickets and in ODI cricket with 239 wickets.
Hampshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Hampshire. Hampshire teams formed by earlier organisations,principally the Hambledon Club,always had first-class status and the same applied to the county club when it was founded in 1863. Because of poor performances for several seasons until 1885,Hampshire then lost its status for nine seasons until it was invited into the County Championship in 1895,since when the team have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England. Hampshire originally played at the Antelope Ground,Southampton until 1885 when they relocated to the County Ground,Southampton until 2000,before moving to the purpose-built Rose Bowl in West End,which is in the Borough of Eastleigh on the north east outskirts of Southampton. The club has twice won the County Championship,in the 1961 and 1973 seasons.
Victor Alexander Barton was an English first-class cricketer,association footballer,and soldier. Beginning his cricket with the Royal Artillery Cricket Club,his performances bought him to the attention of Kent,for whom he would play first-class cricket for in 1889 and 1890. Barton bought himself out of the Royal Artillery in 1891 in order to pursue a professional career with his native-county Hampshire,who were at the time a second-class county. Prior to his arrival at Hampshire,Barton toured South Africa with an English team captained by Walter Read,and played in the tours final match against South Africa,which was later retrospectively afforded Test status. He played for Hampshire between 1892 and 1902,and following their reelevation to first-class status for the 1895 season,Barton appeared in over 140 first-class matches for the county,scoring over 6,000 runs and taking 130 wickets.
Arthur James Ledger Hill was an English cricketer and played Test cricket for England in 1896. In first-class cricket,he began his career playing for Cambridge University while studying at Jesus College,Cambridge. He would play the majority of his first-class cricket for Hampshire,for whom he made 161 appearances between 1895 and 1921. Early in his career,Hill was a "useful fast bowler" and would take 305 first-class wickets during his career,the majority of which came prior to 1900. As a batsman,he scored over 10,000 runs in first-class cricket,recording nineteen centuries. He was notable for scoring the first-ever first-class century in India,which he made touring with Lord Hawke's XI in January 1893. His sporting endeavours also extended to rugby union and field hockey,with him representing Hampshire in both.
David Andrew Griffiths is an English former cricketer who played at first-class level for Hampshire and Kent County Cricket Clubs in a professional playing career which spanned from 2006 to 2016. Playing as a right-arm fast bowler,he took over 100 wickets in first-class cricket.
Paul-Jan Bakker is a Dutch former international cricketer,who also played domestic cricket at first-class and List A level in England for Hampshire from 1986 to 1992,taking 269 wickets across both formats. He later played in the Netherlands inaugural One Day International match in the 1996 World Cup,before retiring shortly after the tournament. In 2007,he briefly succeeded Peter Cantrell as Netherlands coach.

Iain Brunnschweiler is an English former professional cricketer,and semi-professional footballer. He played first-class cricket as a wicket-keeper for Hampshire between 2000 and 2003,and later coached cricket for both Hampshire and England,the latter at youth levels. He also played association football for A.F.C. Totton between 2005 and 2007,and later coached at Southampton until 2023.

Robert James Parks is a former English first-class cricketer who played predominantly for as a wicket-keeper for Hampshire. In a playing career for Hampshire which spanned from 1980 to 1992,Parks took exactly 700 dismissals in first-class cricket,which as of 2024 makes him the most successful wicket-keeper in Hampshire's history. He later briefly played for Kent in 1993,before holding numerous coaching roles at Hampshire.
Tony Charles Middleton is an English cricket coach and a former first-class cricketer. Middleton played for Hampshire from 1984 to 1995,making over 160 appearances across first-class and one-day cricket. Following his retirement in 1995,he has held a variety of coaching roles at Hampshire and as 2024 is the club's batting coach.
James Michael Vince is an English cricketer who is the captain for Hampshire County Cricket Club and plays for the England cricket team. Vince was part of the England squad that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup. He is a right-handed middle-order batter who is also a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his international debut for England in May 2015.
Danny Richard Briggs is an English cricketer who currently plays for Warwickshire County Cricket Club,previously playing for Hampshire County Cricket Club and Sussex County Cricket Club. Briggs is a right-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He was born at Newport on the Isle of Wight and was educated on the island at Carisbrooke High School. Briggs is the first international player to be born on the Isle of Wight. Briggs made his debut for Hampshire County Cricket Club aged 18 in 2009,since his debut he has seen success in first-class and Twenty20 cricket. In 2011,he became the youngest English spin bowler to take 100 first-class wickets since Derek Underwood. He made his full international debut for England on 21 February 2012 against Pakistan in the fourth One Day International at the DSC Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
Joseph Charles Buttler is an English cricketer who is the captain of the England cricket team in limited-overs cricket,and previously played for the England Test team. In domestic cricket he represents Lancashire,having previously played for Somerset,and has played in multiple Twenty20 leagues,including for Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals,now Gujrat Titans in the Indian Premier League. Widely regarded as England cricket team's greatest ever batter in limited-overs cricket,Buttler is known for his highly innovative and aggressive batting style. He was part of the England team that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Under his captaincy,England won the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup.

Thomas Soar was an English first-class cricketer. Soar initially played an important part in facilitating Hampshire's readmission as a first-class county in 1895,forming a potent bowling partnership with Harry Baldwin. With Hampshire's return to first-class status in 1895 and their admission to the County Championship,he went onto make 101 first-class appearances,in which he took over 300 wickets and scored nearly 2,000 runs. He later coached cricket at Llandovery College in Wales,where he played minor counties cricket for Carmarthenshire.
Matthew Jack Leach is an English professional cricketer who plays internationally for the England Test cricket team. In domestic cricket,he represents Somerset. Leach made his Test debut in 2018. He plays as a left-arm orthodox spin bowler.
The Rose Bowl,known for sponsorship reasons as Utilita Bowl,is a cricket ground and hotel complex in West End,Hampshire. It is the home of Hampshire County Cricket Club,who have played there since 2001.
Dominic Mark Bess is an English professional cricketer who has played internationally for the England Test cricket team. In domestic cricket,he represents Yorkshire,having previously played for Somerset. Bess made his Test debut in 2018. He plays as a right-handed all-rounder,bowling off break.
The 2010 Twenty20 Cup Final,known for sponsorship purposes as the 2010 Friends Provident t20 Final,was a 20 overs-per-side cricket match between Hampshire County Cricket Club and Somerset County Cricket Club played on 14 August 2010 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. It was the eighth final of the Twenty20 Cup.
