The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Belgium competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. 63 competitors, 47 men and 16 women, took part in 48 events in 14 sports.

Helena Pilejczyk was a Polish speed skater. Pilejczyk was the Olympic bronze medal winner in the 1,500 m in Squaw Valley (1960). Her first appearance at the Polish national Championships speed skating was in 1953, while the last time she could be seen skating internationally was during the masters games of 2002, where she competed in the category for female skaters 70 years and above. She achieved 40 Polish skating records and won 37 Polish titles for distance, allround and relay race events. Pilejczyk died in Elbląg on 12 November 2023, at the age of 92.

Hungary has been the most successful country in men's tournament, while the United States is the only team to win multiple times at the women's tournament since its introduction. Jacob Christiaan "Jaap" ten Kortenaar is a cyclist from the Netherlands. He competed in the men's team time trial at the 1992 Summer Olympics, finishing 9th. He finished second and third at the Dutch National Time Trial Championships in respectively 1993 and 1994.
Water motorsport was on the Summer Olympic Games programme in 1900. These events have generally not been classified as official, although the IOC has never decided which events were "Olympic" and which were not. As with the official croquet events, some motorboating events satisfied three of four retrospective criteria — restriction to amateurs, open to all nations, open to all competitors and without handicapping. As with croquet, there were only French players. Motorboating was also included in the 1908 Olympic Games.
Marnix ten Kortenaar is an Austrian speed skater. He competed in three events at the 1998 Winter Olympics.
