Martijn de Veer (born 21 November 2002) [1] is a Dutch artistic gymnast. He will represent the Netherlands at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
De Veer was born in 2002 in Rotterdam. He initially played football, but his mother encouraged him to focus on gymnastics. As of 2024, De Veer studies business administration at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. [2]
At the 2022 European Championships, De Veer competed with the Dutch team that placed 11th in the qualification round. [3] He won the bronze medal in the all-around at the 2022 Dutch Championships. He also won a silver medal on the horizontal bar and bronze medals on the floor exercise and parallel bars. [4] He then competed at the 2022 World Championships in Liverpool where the Dutch team finished 13th in the qualification round. De Veer also did not qualify for any of the individual finals. [5]
De Veer finished fourth on the horizontal bar at the 2023 Cottbus World Cup. [6] He was unable to compete at the 2023 European Championships due to a knee injury. [7] He was the team alternate for the Netherlands at the 2023 World Championships. The team placed 11th in the qualification round and earned a team berth for the 2024 Olympic Games. [8]
De Veer finished fourth in the all-around and won the floor exercise title at the 2024 Dutch Championships. [9] He was then selected to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics alongside Jermain Grünberg, Loran de Munck, Frank Rijken, and Casimir Schmidt. [10]
Rebeca Rodrigues de Andrade is a Brazilian artistic gymnast. Having won a total of six Olympic and nine World medals, she is the most decorated Brazilian and Latin American gymnast of all time, as well as the most decorated Brazilian Olympian in any discipline. In the all-around, she is the 2022 World champion, a two-time Olympic silver medalist, the 2023 World silver medalist, and the 2021 Pan American champion. On vault, she is the 2020 Olympic gold medalist, the 2024 Olympic silver medalist, a two-time World Champion, and the 2023 Pan American Games champion. She led the Brazilian team to its first ever team medals at the 2023 World Championships (silver) and the 2024 Olympics (bronze), as well as the gold medal at the 2021 Pan American Championships. She won the gold medal at the 2024 Olympic in the floor exercise.
Sanne Wevers is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She is the 2016 Olympic champion on the balance beam and was the first Dutch female gymnast to become an Olympic champion in an individual event. She is the 2018 and 2023 European champion on the balance beam. She is also the 2015 World and 2021 European silver medalist on the balance beam and the 2015 European bronze medalist on the uneven bars. She was a member of the Dutch team that won the bronze medal at the 2018 and 2023 European Championships.
Lieke Wevers is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She was the first Dutch woman to win a European title in gymnastics: at the 2015 European Games, she won the gold medal on the balance beam and was the bronze medalist with the Dutch team, in the individual all-around, and on floor exercise. She competed at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics and qualified for the all-around finals.
Eythora Elisabet Thorsdottir is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics where she finished ninth in the individual all-around. At the 2017 European Championships, she won a silver medal on balance beam and a bronze medal on floor exercise. She is also the 2019 European floor exercise silver medalist and the 2023 European bronze medalist with the Dutch team.
Tisha Manouk Gijs Volleman is a Dutch artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. She won a bronze medal with the Dutch team at the 2018 European Championships. She will compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics after initially being the team's alternate.
Nina Derwael is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic champion, a two-time World champion, and a two-time European champion on the uneven bars. She is the 2019 European Games champion on the balance beam, as well as a two-time Belgian national all-around champion.
Ana Filipa da Silva Martins is a Portuguese artistic gymnast who competed at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. She won a bronze medal at the 2015 Summer Universiade on the balance beam. She is the first Portuguese gymnast to win a World Cup gold medal.
Maellyse Brassart is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She represented Belgium at the 2020 Summer Olympics and the 2024 Summer Olympics. She has competed at five World Championships.
Ryu Sung-hyun is a South Korean artistic gymnast. He is the 2019 Junior World champion on the floor exercise. He represented South Korea at the 2020 Summer Olympics and placed fourth in the floor exercise final. He won two bronze medals at the 2021 Summer World University Games. He has qualified to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics through the 2024 FIG World Cup series.
Illia Yuriiovych Kovtun is a Ukrainian artistic gymnast. He is the 2023 World all-around silver medalist and 2021 World all-around bronze medalist. Kovtun also won the silver medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics on parallel bars. At the European Championships he is the 2023 European champion on parallel bars as well as a one-time silver medalist and a three-time bronze medalist. Additionally he is a two-time junior world championships medalist.
Audrys Nin Reyes is a Dominican artistic gymnast. He is the 2019 and 2023 Pan American Games vault champion. He was the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at the Pan American Games. He was also the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at an FIG World Cup event when he won the vault title at the 2017 Osijek World Challenge Cup. He is the 2017 Pan American vault and horizontal bar champion and the 2017 Universiade vault champion. He is also the 2018 and 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games vault champion. He has qualified to represent the Dominican Republic at the 2024 Summer Olympics, the first male gymnast from his country to do so.
Lihie Raz is an Olympic artistic gymnast. Born in the United States, she represents Israel internationally. She won the bronze medal on the floor exercise at the 2020 European Championships, which was Israel's first medal at the European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She is also the 2019 and 2021 Israeli all-around champion. She represented Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics and finished 59th in the all-around during qualifications, but did not advance to any finals. Raz is representing Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and was the first reserve for the individual all-around final.
Zeina Ibrahim Sharaf is an Egyptian artistic gymnast. She is the 2019 African Games team and uneven bars champion and the 2021 African all-around champion. She is also the 2022 African team and balance beam champion. She represented Egypt at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games and the 2020 Olympic Games.
Ting Hua-tien is a Taiwanese artistic gymnast. She is the 2019 Asian champion and the 2022 Asian Games bronze medalist on the balance beam. She competed at the 2020 Olympic Games, making her the first Taiwanese female gymnast to compete at an Olympic Games since 1968. She qualified to represent Chinese Taipei at the 2024 Summer Olympics through the 2024 FIG World Cup series.

Sanna Veerman is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She was part of the bronze medal-winning Dutch team at the 2023 European Championships.
Lucija Hribar is a Slovenian artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 Mediterranean Games uneven bars bronze medalist and a three-time bronze medalist on the FIG World Challenge Cup series. She represented Slovenia at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Charlize Mörz is an Austrian artistic gymnast. At the 2024 Baku World Cup, she became the first Austrian female gymnast to win a gold medal on the FIG World Cup series. She represented Austria at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She has represented her country at three World Championships. At the junior level, she is the 2020 Austrian all-around champion, and she is a two-time Austrian senior all-around silver medalist. She is a two-time national champion on the floor exercise.
Jermain Grünberg is a Dutch artistic gymnast. He will represent the Netherlands at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Glen Cuyle is a Belgian artistic gymnast. He represented Belgium at the 2024 Summer Olympics and qualified for the rings final, finishing eighth.
