Marwan Attia Fahim Ghallab (born 12 August 1998) is an Egyptian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Egyptian Premier League club Al Ahly and the Egypt national team.

Club career

He signed with Al Ahly SC in the middle of the 2022–23 season amid interest from arch-rivals Zamalek SC on a four-and-a-half-year contract. [2] [3]

International career

He was called up for the first time to the Egyptian national team in August 2022, [4] before making his first appearance on 24 March 2023. [5]

Personal life

Attia's father passed away on 13 July 2023, while Attia was in a camp preparing for the Zamalek match. [6] He married his fiancée, Salma Saqr, on 25 July 2024, after postponing it from last year due to the death of his father. [7]
