Winning Streak is an Irish television game show that was produced for the National Lottery, and broadcast from 21 September 1990 to 21 March 2020 on RTÉ One. Produced in RTE's Studio 1 at their Television Centre in Dublin, the series featured contestants qualified via National Lottery scratchcards, who received the chance to win cash and other prizes. The climax of each episode featured one of the contestants receiving a chance to spin a wheel for a chance to win the programme's grand prize, which had escalated to one million Euro by the end of the series.

Open House is an afternoon television show broadcast on RTÉ One between 1999 and 2004. The last episode was broadcast in 2004. The show was broadcast five days a week, and was also transmitted to the United Kingdom via Tara Television.
Crimecall is a television show broadcast once monthly on RTÉ. It is co-produced in Dublin, Ireland by Green Ink Ltd and 360 Production South Ltd. Since September 2023, the show is presented by journalist Carla O'Brien. It is a second RTÉ adaptation of German crime programme Aktenzeichen XY… ungelöst, and its format matches that of its British derivative Crimewatch and re-enacts unsolved crimes.
Eileen Dunne is a retired Irish journalist, newsreader and presenter with RTÉ, Ireland's national radio and television station, where she presented the main television news programmes Six One News, Nine O'Clock News and One O'Clock News including all other news bulletins on both radio and television from 1980 to 2022. Seoige is an Irish television chat show. It was hosted by sisters Gráinne and Síle Seoige and was broadcast live on weekdays at 4.30 pm on RTÉ One between 2006 and 2009, with a hiatus in the summer months. Episodes were repeated at 8.20 the following weekday morning on the same channel.
The All Ireland Talent Show was a Raidió Teilifís Éireann television series which was billed as Ireland's biggest-ever talent contest. It was first announced in November 2008 and the first series commenced broadcasting on 4 January 2009, completing on 15 March 2009. Modelled on Got Talent, it is produced by Tyrone Productions. Airing on RTÉ One, it was hosted by Gráinne Seoige.
The TV Now Awards was an annual awards ceremony which took place in Ireland between 2006 and 2010. The awards celebrated television moments from the previous year, with their name being taken from the magazine TV Now which is published by Michael O'Doherty.

The fifth and final season of Tubridy Tonight commenced airing on 27 September 2008 and completed broadcasting on 30 May 2009. The series, hosted by Ryan Tubridy, aired on RTÉ One on Saturdays nights following the RTÉ News: Nine O'Clock. At the end of this series, Tubridy took over from Pat Kenny as host of The Late Late Show on Friday nights on the same channel.
RTÉ One is an Irish free-to-air flagship television channel owned and operated by RTÉ. It is the most-popular and most-watched television channel in the country and was launched as Telefís Éireann on 31 December 1961, it was renamed RTÉ in 1966, and it was renamed as RTÉ 1 upon the launch of RTÉ 2 in 1978. It is funded partly by the government's licence fee; the remainder of the funding is provided by commercial advertising. Because RTÉ is funded partly by the licence fee it shows considerably fewer advertisements than most other channels available in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Aengus Mac Grianna is a former Irish newsreader for RTÉ. Mac Grianna was born in Raheny, a suburb in north Dublin, to an Irish-speaking family. His father was a scientist and his mother was a teacher. Mac Grianna was educated solely through Irish. He broadcast in both Irish and English. Mac Grianna has presented the Oireachtas Media Awards. He lives on an alpaca farm in County Meath just outside Ashbourne with his husband Terry Gill whom he married in June 2014. His first job was in the Arnotts Sports Department where he earned £80 per week. He is a fan of Desperate Housewives and Coronation Street and supports Dublin and Manchester United. Mac Grianna was considered a favourite to replace iconic newsreader Anne Doyle when she retired on 25 December 2011.
