The Maryland Racing Media Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race run in February of each year at Laurel Park Racecourse in Baltimore, Maryland.
It is set at a distance of one and one sixteenth miles (eight and one half furlongs) on the dirt for fillies and mares and three years old and up. It is run for a purse of $100,000.
The race was named in honor of the Maryland Racing Media Association which was organized under the name of the Maryland Racing Writers' Association in 1937. It held its first meeting at Havre de Grave race track in that year. Originally the association was restricted to members of the print media; the membership now includes members from television, radio, publicity and photojournalism as well. The stakes record is held by Irving's Baby who won the race at 1+1⁄8 miles in 2002 in 1:50.20. [2]

The Baltimore Washington International Turf Cup is an American Grade III invitational horse race run over one mile. Inaugurated in 1952, it was raced at Laurel Park Racecourse on the turf in Laurel, Maryland, at a distance of 1+1⁄2 miles, and attracted top turf horses from North America and Europe.
Laurel Park, formerly Laurel Race Course, is an American thoroughbred racetrack located just outside Laurel, Maryland which opened in 1911. The track is 1+1⁄8 miles in circumference. Its name was changed to "Laurel Race Course" for several decades until returning to the "Laurel Park" designation in 1994.
The Blue Grass Stakes, currently the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes due to sponsorship by the Toyota Motor Corporation, is a horse race for 3-year-old Thoroughbreds held annually in April at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky. The Dinner Party Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race held annually in mid-May at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. It is the eighth-oldest graded stakes race in the United States and the oldest stakes race in Maryland and all of the Mid-Atlantic states. The race is open to horses age three and up and is run one and one-eighth miles on the turf. Currently a Grade II stakes race with a purse of $250,000, at one time the Dixie was a very important race that drew the top horses from across North America.

The Laurel Futurity is an American Thoroughbred horse race held annually in late September at Laurel Park Racecourse in Laurel, Maryland. Run over a distance of 1+1⁄16 miles on turf, at one time it was a Grade I stakes race on dirt, and one of the richest and most important races for two-year-old American thoroughbreds. When the race was moved from the dirt to the turf in 2005, it lost its graded status and was subsequently ineligible for grading in 2006. The race was finally cancelled in 2008 for economic reasons. It was announced by Laurel Park that the famed race would be restored in 2011 and run on October 8 at 6 furlongs.
The Salvator Mile Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race held annually in June or July at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport, New Jersey. Open to horses age three and older, it is contested on dirt at a distance of one mile. A Grade III event, it currently offers a purse of $155,000. This race is named for U.S. Racing Hall of Fame inductee, Salvator.

In 2015, the Maryland Jockey Club agreed to move the Stakes race and run it at Laurel Park changing the name of a former race Lady Baltimore Stakes to the All Along Stakes.
