HMA is also the first Honda factory to have both engine die-casting and machining on site as well as vehicle assembly, under the same roof. HMA is the sole manufacturer of the Honda Odyssey, Honda Passport, Honda Pilot, and Honda Ridgeline.

The assembly plant opened in 1982.

NLC signed an agreement with Mercedes Benz for the manufacturing of Mercedes Actros trucks in Pakistan. Pakistan has not enforced any automotive safety standards or model upgrade policies. A few old models of vehicles including the Bolan and Ravi continue to be sold by Suzuki. On 8 July 2021, Jolta Electric launched production of electric motorcycles.
In the U.S., the seventh generation North American Honda Accord is a mid-size car that was available as a four-door sedan or a two-door coupe and was produced by Honda from September 2002 to 2007. The second-generation Honda NSX, marketed as the Acura NSX in North America, China and Kuwait, is a two-seater, all-wheel drive, mid-engine hybrid electric sports car developed and manufactured by Honda in the United States. Production began in 2016 and will end in 2022 with the Type S variant. It succeeds the original NSX that was produced in Japan from 1990 to 2005.
