Masakatsu Ueda (born December 21, 1977) is a professional Japanese mixed martial artist who currently competes in the bantamweight division of Pancrase.
Ueda was also a college level wrestler in Japan, where holds a win over fellow mixed martial artist and Japanese superstar Norifumi Yamamoto, better known as "Kid" Yamamoto. Ueda has also won many national titles in combat wrestling. He also won the All Japan Shooto Grappling championship, and both A and B class Shooto Rookie Tournaments. He is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Yuki Nakai.
Ueda won the vacant Shooto Featherweight Championship after defeating Koetsu Okazai on March 28, 2008, by Unanimous Decision at Shooto's Back To Our Roots 8 show.
Ueda faced Travis Marx in the first round of the Season 6 Bantamweight Tournament and suffered a unanimous decision loss in a competitive fight. He was later released from the promotion. [1]
Following his release from Bellator, Ueda signed with ONE Championship and entered the ONE FC Bantamweight Grand Prix. He made his debut against Min Jung Song at ONE Fighting Championship: Rise of Kings on October 6. [2]
Ueda faced Jens Pulver in the Bantamweight Grand Prix semifinals on April 5, 2013, at ONE Fighting Championship: Kings and Champions. He won the fight by submission. [3]
On May 31, 2013, he faced Kevin Belingon at ONE Fighting Championship: Rise to Power in the ONE Bantamweight Grand Prix Final. Ueda won the fight by unanimous decision. [4]
By winning the Bantamweight Grand Prix, Ueda was able to secure a title shot against Bibiano Fernandes for the ONE Bantamweight Championship. He faced Fernandes at ONE Fighting Championship: Rise of Heroes on May 2, 2014. He lost by unanimous decision. [5]

Joachim B. Hansen is a Norwegian retired mixed martial artist. He began his career fighting for FinnFight before moving on to fight for Shooto where he became the first Scandinavian person to hold an MMA world title after winning the Shooto World Lightweight Championship in 2003 from Takanori Gomi. Hansen later fought for the Pride Fighting Championship and most recently Dream where he became the Dream Lightweight Champion.
Norifumi "KID" Yamamoto was a Japanese mixed martial artist and kickboxer who competed in the bantamweight division of the UFC. He quickly gained popularity in the Shooto organization due to his aggressive, well-rounded style and controversial persona. He moved on to K-1 Hero's, where he became the K-1 Hero's 2005 Middleweight Grand Prix Tournament Champion in December, 2005 after defeating Genki Sudo via a controversial TKO due to punches.
Shinya Aoki is a Japanese mixed martial artist, professional wrestler and grappler currently competing in ONE Championship's Welterweight division. He also competes in DDT Pro-Wrestling where he is a former three-time DDT Extreme Champion. A professional competitor since 2003, he is noted for being the DREAM Lightweight Champion, former two time ONE Lightweight World Champion, former WAMMA Lightweight Champion and former Shooto Welterweight Champion. Aoki is an A-class Shootist and BJJ black belt, both under his long-term mentor Yuki Nakai, as well as a black belt Judoka. Marcos Galvão is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Featherweight division of the Professional Fighters League. A professional competitor since 2003, Galvão peaked at a global ranking of No. 2 among Bantamweights in August 2007 and has also formerly competed for the WEC, Shooto, Jungle Fight, and Bellator, where he is the former Bantamweight World Champion. Galvao's nickname "Louro" means "blonde" in Portuguese, because he often dyes his hair this color.
Hideo Tokoro is a Japanese mixed martial artist who last competed in the Bantamweight division. Hiroyuki Takaya is a Japanese mixed martial artist currently competing in the Featherweight division. A professional competitor since 2003, Takaya has fought in the WEC, Strikeforce, DREAM, Shooto, K-1 HERO'S, Pancrase, RIZIN, Vale Tudo Japan, and Cage Force. Takaya is the former DREAM Featherweight Champion. He also competed at the Japanese MMA events Fight For Japan: Genki Desu Ka Omisoka 2011 and Dynamite!! 2010. Joseph Ryan Warren is an American Greco-Roman wrestler and mixed martial artist who most recently competed for Bellator MMA. In Bellator, Warren became the first fighter in the promotion's history to become world champion in 2 divisions, winning the Bellator Featherweight World Championship in 2010 and the Bantamweight World Championship in 2014. As a Greco-Roman wrestler, he won the 2006 Pan American and the 2006 World Championship. He later participated in and won the Gold Medal at the 2007 World Cup.
