Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition was a Philippine competitive cooking game show that aired from August 27, 2011 to February 18, 2012, replacing The Price Is Right and was replaced by the fourth season of Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal and Sarah G. Live. The series was adapted out of the British show Junior MasterChef, in turn was a spin-off based on MasterChef, featuring Filipino contestants aged 8 to 12. It was broadcast on ABS-CBN starting with a pre-series primer on August 20, 2011.
Slovenia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "Verjamem" written by Vladimir Graić, Hari Mata Hari and Igor Pirkovič. The song was performed by Eva Boto. Songwriter Hari Mata Hari represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song "Lejla" where he placed third in the grand final of the competition. Slovenian broadcaster Radiotelevizija Slovenija organised the national final Misija EMA 2012 in order to select the Slovenian entry for the 2012 contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. 32 performers competed in the first stage of the national final, Misija Evrovizija, from which two artists qualified to compete in Misija EMA 2012 following a five-month-long competition. In Misija EMA 2012, the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. In the first round, each artist performed three songs and one song were selected for each performer following the combination of votes from a four-member jury panel and a public televote. In the second round, "Verjamem" performed by Eva Boto was selected as the winner entirely by a public televote.
MasterChef South Africa is the South African version of the television cooking game show franchise MasterChef. It was originally filmed on the Nederburg Wine Estate in Paarl, Western Cape and judged by Pete Goffe-Wood, Benny Masekwameng, Reuben Riffel and Andrew Atkinson, up to the third season. The series' first run was from March 2012 – May 2015.

MasterChef India – Tamil is an Indian Tamil-language competitive cooking reality show based on MasterChef Australia and is part of MasterChef India. Produced by Innovative Film Academy and Endemol Shine India, it is broadcast on Sun TV. The show is hosted by Vijay Sethupathi. The show was originally supposed to be aired in May 2021; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India, the show was pushed back to 7 August 2021. The debut season of the Tamil version of MasterChef made the MasterChef format surpass 500 seasons worldwide.
