Matcho is an upcoming video game by FiolaSoft Studio. It is a mix of First-person shooter and Match 3 game. [3] [4] It is set in the same universe of FiolaSoft previous game Blackhole . [5]

Plot

Set 40 year prior events of Blackhole when Earth is invaded by aliens. Max suffers from mysterious disease which also gives him superpowers to fight aliens. Max and his friends try to solve a mysterious alien invasion that could cure Max's illness and save the Earth.

Gameplay

Matcho is described ad Match-3 FPS game. [6] [7] [8] It is an Action adventure. Gameplay requires from player to move and think fast fast. Player has to fight enemies by linking three of the same colour together. [9] Besides story mode there is an infinite mode with its own short campaign. It will include variety of quests while not linked to the main story. Endless mode is also linked to a number of challenges, online rankings, but also a Zen mode where player can carefree shoot bugs. [5] [10]

The game will also offer a Multiplayer with Deathmatch Mode. [5]

Matcho was announced on 30 March 2022 during Game Access. [11] [12]

Set in late 1962 at the height of the Cold War, the game's premise mainly revolves around The Bureau, the predecessor of the Extraterrestrial Combat Unit (XCOM), as they attempt to repel an alien invasion.
