Alf Mats Bertil Johansson (born 26 August 1956) is a Swedish Olympic sailor who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics, finishing 4th, and in the 2000 Summer Olympics, finishing 13th. [1] He also skippered for the Victory Challenge Louis Vuitton Cup challenge and has bronze medal from the 1990 Star World Championships in Cleveland, Ohio.

Pelle Helmer Petterson is a Swedish sailor and yacht designer. He is the son of Helmer Petterson and Norwegian-born Borgny Petterson, and studied design at the leading Pratt Institute in New York from 1955 through 1957. Max Emil Fredrik Lööf is a Swedish professional sailor who has participated in six Summer Olympics, winning one gold and two bronze medals. He won the gold medal in Star with Max Salminen at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the bronze medals in Finn in the 2000 Summer Olympics and with Anders Ekström in Star in the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Anders Ekström is a Swedish sailor who has participated in two Summer Olympics. He and Fredrik Lööf sailed together in the Star class, winning the Star world championship, the Star European championship, finishing 14th at Athens in 2004, and winning the bronze medal at Beijing in 2008.

Chris Dold Canadian sailor from Oakville, Ontario

Chris Dold is a Canadian sailor from Oakville, Ontario. He is currently a five-time Canadian Sailing National Team member campaigning for the 2016 Olympics in Rio. In 2008, he won the US National Championships and the North American Grand Prix in the Laser (dinghy) class. In 2009, he won the North American Championship and then the Canadian Championship in 2010. In 2012, he won Gills North American Sailor of the Year Award. He ranks 24th in the world according to the International Sailing Federation. He competed in the ISAF World Cup for the 2010 season but suffered a major hip and knee injury which required surgery. He is currently back to sailing in Florida and training for a spot on the 2016 olympic team.

John Somers Payne was an Irish Sport Sailor, doyen of Cork Harbour Sailing and double Olympian. Payne competed as a member of the National Irish Sailing teams in November 1956 and again at the August 1960 Olympics, earning himself the title of a double olympian. In the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, Australia Payne competed in the Men’s Finn single handed dinghy category and placed 16th. Four years later at the Olympic Games held off the coast of Naples, Italy, he competed in the same category and placed 18th, in what was his final sailing competition. John Somers Payne, also simply known as 'Somers' was often described by family and friends as an ‘inspiration’, as he was one of the first individuals from the coastal Cork village of Crosshaven to sail into the olympics.

Carolijn Brouwer Dutch sailor

Carolijn Mariëlle Brouwer is a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented this country for the first time at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Brouwer as helmsman of the Dutch with Alexandra Verbeek as crew took the 13th place in the Women's 470. In the 2004 Olympics Brouwer returned to the Olympics in the Europe and took 19th place. Brouwer than switched to the Tornado and qualified for the 2008 Olympics. However this time she sailed for Belgium. As helmsman, with crew Sébastien Godefroid she took 12th place.

Philipine van Aanholt is a sailor from Curaçao, competing mainly in the Laser Radial class. She is the daughter of former Olympic sailor Cor van Aanholt who participated in the 2000 Summer Olympics in the Laser class. After the National Olympic Committee of the Netherlands Antilles lost its recognition by the International Olympic Committee following the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in 2010, Van Aanholt was allowed to participate in the 2012 Summer Olympics as an Independent Olympic Athlete. Vicente "Vince" d'Avila Melo Brun is a Brazilian-American Olympic sailor and sail maker that competed in the Soling class at the 1976 and 1980 Summer Olympics. 1976, he finished 10th together with his brother Gastão Brun and Andreas Wengert, and in 1980 he finished 6th together with his brother and Roberto Luiz Souza. He also won three Soling World Championships and the 1986 Star World Championships and participated in the Stars & Stripes America's Cup campaign. Brun moved to the United States in 1975.
