Matthew R. LaGrassa (born January 27, 1993) is an American former professional soccer player.
LaGrassa grew up in Elk Grove, California, where he attended Pleasant Grove High School. [1] He played four years of college soccer at Cal Poly University between 2012 and 2015, including a red-shirted year in 2011. [2]
LaGrassa appeared for Premier Development League side Des Moines Menace in 2011 and 2012, and Ventura County Fusion in 2013, 2014 and 2015. [3] [4]
LaGrassa signed with United Soccer League side Sacramento Republic on January 20, 2016. [5]
LaGrassa was announced as one of United Soccer League club Nashville SC's first signings on November 30, 2017. [6] Following the 2021 season LaGrassa's contract option was declined by Nashville and he became a free agent. [7]
On January 13, 2022, LaGrassa returned to his former club Sacramento Republic. [8]
LaGrassa announced his retirement from the professional game on November 16, 2023. [9]

Adam John William Moffat is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and spent the majority of his career playing in the various professional leagues in the United States. He attended Gryffe High School in Houston, Scotland before beginning his career in Scottish football with Ross County and Elgin City, Moffat has played in the United States since 2007, initially with Cleveland City Stars. He then played for Major League Soccer (MLS) teams Columbus Crew, Portland Timbers, Houston Dynamo and Seattle Sounders FC and FC Dallas prior to joining the New York Cosmos in 2015 and finishing his career with Sacramento Republic. He won the MLS Cup with Columbus in 2008.
The Cal Poly Mustangs men's soccer program represents the Cal Poly Mustangs of California Polytechnic State University in men's soccer at the NCAA Division I level. Like most teams from Cal Poly, they play in the Big West Conference.
