Belcher was selected as the Australian flag bearer for the closing ceremony of the 2020 Summer Olympics after winning a second gold medal and third successive medal in the 470 class.
Lisa Kearney is a Northern Irish retired judoka, who competed in the −48 kg category. Kearney, who lives and trains in Belfast, competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London as a member of the Ireland Olympic team.
Ryan Seaton is an Irish sailor. He represented Ireland at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 49er class alongside Matt McGovern, the pair finished 14th. He also competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics where he and Matt McGowan finished 10th.
Michael John Conlan is an Irish professional boxer. He challenged for the IBF featherweight title in 2023 and the WBA (Regular) featherweight title in 2022. As an amateur, he reached number one in the AIBA bantamweight world rankings, with achievements that include a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and gold at the 2015 World Championships. He has been one of Ireland's most successful amateur fighters of all time. He turned professional in 2016 after misgivings with the amateur sport, and had his first bout in 2017.
Luke Patience is a British Olympic sailor. He competed with Stuart Bithell at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and the team won a silver medal.
Ryan McLaughlin is a Northern Irish footballer who last played as a right back for Morecambe, and the Northern Ireland national football team.

He was a unified bantamweight world champion, having held the WBA (Unified) and IBF titles between 2017 and 2018. At regional level he held the British bantamweight title from 2015 to 2017. As an amateur, he represented Ireland at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics and won a gold medal in the light-flyweight division.
John McAdorey was an Irish sprinter. He competed in the men's 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
Stephen Milne is an Irish former sailor, who specialized in the keelboat (Star) class. Together with his partner and Cork native Peter O'Leary, he was named one of the country's top sailors in the all-male keelboat for the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing in a distant thirteenth position. Milne trained most of his sporting career at the Royal Belfast Yacht Club.
Eilidh Jane McIntyre is a British former sailor, who won the gold medal alongside Hannah Mills in the 470 event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She won the 2019 470 World Championships, and came second at the 2017 470 World Championships. She finished third at the 2015 470 European Championships, and second at the 2019 and 2021 events, as well as having won multiple Sailing World Cup medals. In 2022, McIntyre was awarded an MBE for services to yachting.
