Matthew Wood (born February 6, 2005) is a Canadian collegiate ice hockey winger for the University of Minnesota of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). He was drafted 15th overall by Nashville Predators in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
Wood was the youngest player in college hockey when he scored 11 goals and 34 points in 35 games playing for the University of Connecticut. [1] He was named to Hockey East's All-Rookie team.

At the 2022 Hlinka-Gretzky tournament, Wood put up five points in five games, winning a gold medal. At the 2023 U18 worlds, he led Canada with 13 points in seven games, winning bronze. [2]

Jonathan Bryan Toews is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who is an unrestricted free agent. Toews most recently played for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL), where he served as the team's captain between 2008 and 2023. Nicknamed "Captain Serious", Toews was selected by the Blackhawks with the third overall pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He joined the team in 2007–08 and was nominated for the Calder Memorial Trophy as NHL Rookie of the Year. The following season he was named team captain, becoming the second-youngest captain in NHL history at the time. Toews won the Stanley Cup in 2010, along with the Conn Smythe Trophy for the most valuable player in the playoffs. After winning the Cup, Toews passed Peter Forsberg as the youngest player to join the Triple Gold Club. He won the Stanley Cup again in 2013 and 2015.
Nathan Raymond MacKinnon is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). MacKinnon was selected first overall by the Avalanche in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. MacKinnon won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022. He is widely considered as one of the best players currently in the NHL.
John Michael Gaudreau is an American professional ice hockey winger for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for the NCAA Division I's Boston College Eagles from 2011 to 2014. Gaudreau was selected by the Calgary Flames in the fourth round, 104th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Nicknamed "Johnny Hockey," he was named the 2014 winner of the Hobey Baker Award as the best player in the NCAA, and, during his first full NHL season in 2014–15, he was selected to play in the 2015 NHL All-Star Game, as well as being selected in the 2014 NHL All-Rookie team.
