Maureen Magreth Hinda-Mbuende (born 9 September 1964) is a Namibian legislator in the National Assembly and a politician serving as a deputy minister of Finance and Public Enterprises.
Hinda was born on 9 September 1964 in Tses,South West Africa (today in the ǁKaras Region of Namibia). She matriculated at Suiderlig High School in 1983 and completed her B.Com. Hons in business administration at the University of the Western Cape in 2002. In 1990 Hinda worked as school teacher at Fredrick Awaseb School. She later served at UN Volunteers as an administration assistant for finance. [1] [2] From 1994 to 1996 she worked as an internal audit clerk at City Savings and Investment Bank. She had been a regional manager at Namibia Housing Enterprise (NHE) in 2002–2009. Hinda-Mbuende left NHE in 2009 to become a managing director at the South Cross HCM Center before she was appointed to be a deputy minister in 2015. [1]
Hinda-Mbuende has been a member of the National Assembly since 2015. In March 2015 Hinda-Mbuende was first appointed by President Hage Geingob as a deputy minister of International Relations and Cooperation. In a February 2018 cabinet reshuffle she was moved to the Minister of Home Affairs,Immigration and Safety and Security,again as deputy minister. [3] She served until March 2021. [4] On 21 April 2021 Hinda-Mbuende was again appointed as deputy minister,this time with the Finance and Public Enterprises portfolio. [2]
Hinda-Mbuende is married to fellow politician and diplomat Kaire Mbuende. They have six children. [5]

Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is a Namibian politician who is Namibia's third and current vice president since February 2024. She previously served as the deputy prime minister of Namibia from 2015 to 2024. Currently the SWAPO vice president,and has retained her position and is set to become the party's first female presidential candidate in November 2024. She has also served as Namibia's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation since December 2012. From March 2010 to December 2012,she was Minister of Environment and Tourism. Nandi-Ndaitwah is a member of SWAPO,Namibia's ruling party,and a long-time member of the National Assembly. In 2017,Nandi-Ndaitwah was elected vice-president of the Swapo Party at the party's 6th Congress. She is the first woman to serve in that position.

Ester-Anna-Liisa Shiwomwenyo Nghipondoka is a Namibian politician and member of SWAPO. She was appointed the Minister of Education,Arts and Culture in March 2020 after having worked as deputy minister with the same portfolio since 2015. In 2021 under her ministry they have implemented a new education curriculum called Advanced Subsidiary (AS). She further stated in 2022 that "the new curriculum is not bad". Nghipondoka also encouraged the teachers to embrace the new curriculum despite the challenges it has.
