Maurice Anthony Chambers (born 14 September 1987) is a cricketer who represented Essex and Northamptonshire between 2005 and 2015. [1] He played as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast bowler. Despite being born at Port Antonio in Jamaica,Chambers qualified as a domestic player in county cricket by residence. [2]
Chambers made his debut first-class appearance for Essex in June 2005 and played 44 first-class matches for the county. During this period he was selected to tour the West Indies with England Lions,and played two matches before he returned home injured. [3]
In 2013 he spent a brief spell on loan to Warwickshire, [4] before signing for Northants. [5] He played 14 first-class matches for Northants,but his contract was not renewed at the end of the 2015 season. [6]
During the 2016 season,Chambers played in the Yorkshire South Premier League for Aston Hall. [7]
In 2021,in the wake of revelations made by Azeem Rafiq and others about their treatment in County Cricket,Chambers revealed he had been subject to repeated racist abuse during his time at Essex. [8]
James Middlebrook is a former English first-class cricketer,who last played for Yorkshire County Cricket Club on a short-term contract. He played as an all-rounder,batting right-handed and bowling off spin. Since retiring from professional cricket Middlebrook has become an umpire,standing in first-class matches from the 2017 season onwards.

Andrew Carter is an English cricketer. A right-handed batsman and right-hand medium pace bowler,he began his county career with Nottinghamshire,making his first-class debut for them in June 2009. On 12 August 2020,following a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic,the ECB confirmed the fixtures for the tournament.

The top two teams from each group progressed into Division One for the second phase of the competition,with the other teams progressing to Divisions Two and Three. The team that finished top of Division One became the county champions;and the top two teams from Division One contested a five-day match at Lord's for the Bob Willis Trophy. On 17 December 2020,the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed all the fixtures for the tournament. After completion of the group stage on 14 July 2021,the ECB confirmed the fixtures for the division stage on 22 July 2021.
