Maxime Montaggioni (born 22 August 1989) is a French para-snowboarder and parataekwondo practitioner. Born without a right hand, he competes in the SB-UL category. Montaggioni is six-time medallist at the World Para Snowboard Championships and a bronze medalist at the World Para Taekwondo Championships.
Montaggioni competed at the 2013 World Para Taekwondo Championships in Lausanne, winning a bronze medal in the -68 kg category. He then began his para-snowboarding career in 2015 at the international level. He distinguished himself with his first podium in the World Cup with the French team in March 2016 at the French resort "Les Angles". At the 2017 World Para Snowboard Championships held at the Big White Ski Resort, Montaggioni won his first medal, winning silver in snowboard cross event on 4 February. Three days later, he won the gold medal in the banked slalom event. He competed at the 2019 World Para Snowboard Championships, winning the gold medal in both the snowboard cross and banked slalom.
Montaggioni won the gold medal in the men's dual banked slalom at the 2021 World Para Snow Sports Championships held in Lillehammer, Norway. [1] [2] He also won the gold medal in the men's snowboard cross event. [3] [4]
He competed in snowboarding at the 2022 Winter Paralympics held in Beijing, China and won the gold medal in the banked slalom SB-UL event. [5]
Simon Patmore, is an Australian Para-athletics and Para-snowboard competitor. He won a gold medal in the Men's 100m T46 at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games, and bronze in the Men's 200m T46 at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. At the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Games, Patmore won a gold medal in the Men's Snowboard Cross SB-UL and bronze in the Men's Banked Slalom SB-UL.
Ben Tudhope is an Australian Paralympian who has competed in para-snowboard cross at three Winter Paralympics 2014 to 2022. His selection at the age of 14 at the 2014 Winter Paralympics meant that he became Australia's youngest Winter Paralympian, replacing Michael Milton. He was the youngest competitor at the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games from any country. He also competed at the 2018 Winter Paralympics. At the 2022 Winter Paralympics, he won the bronze medal in the Men's Snowboard Cross SB-LL2.
Brenna Huckaby is an American snowboarder. She competed at the 2018 Winter Paralympics, winning gold medals in the snowboard cross and banked slalom, and she won gold and a bronze medal at the 2022 Winter Paralympics. She is the first Paralympian to appear in the Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated.

The 2021 World Para Snow Sports Championships was an international disability sport competition held in Lillehammer, Norway from 8 to 23 January 2022. It was the inaugural edition of the World Para Snow Sports Championships with para-alpine skiing, para cross-country skiing, para biathlon and para snowboard being held. It was scheduled for 7 to 20 February 2021 but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway. The rescheduled event retained 2021 in its name.
