The 2021 World Para Snow Sports Championships was an international disability sport competition held in Lillehammer, Norway from 8 to 23 January 2022. [2] It was the inaugural edition of the World Para Snow Sports Championships with para-alpine skiing, para cross-country skiing, para biathlon and para snowboard being held. [3] [4] It was scheduled for 7 to 20 February 2021 but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway. [2] [5] The rescheduled event retained 2021 in its name. [6] [7]
The biathlon and cross-country skiing events were held at the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium and the alpine skiing and snowboard events were held at Hafjell. [8]

Ben Tudhope is an Australian Paralympian who has competed in para-snowboard cross at three Winter Paralympics 2014 to 2022. His selection at the age of 14 at the 2014 Winter Paralympics meant that he became Australia's youngest Winter Paralympian, replacing Michael Milton. He was the youngest competitor at the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games from any country. He also competed at the 2018 Winter Paralympics. At the 2022 Winter Paralympics, he won the bronze medal in the Men's Snowboard Cross SB-LL2.
Alexander Pronkov is a Russian Paralympic cross country skier from Kozlovka village, Penza Oblast, Russia. who won a gold medal in the 10 km freestyle race at the 2014 Winter Paralympics.
Menna Fitzpatrick MBE is a British alpine skier. She is visually impaired having only 5% vision and formerly skied with guide Jennifer Kehoe until 2021. They competed at the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang in March 2018 where they took four medals, including a gold in the slalom, making Fitzpatrick Team GB's most decorated Winter Paralympian.
