Barbara van Bergen (born 9 June 1978) is a Dutch wheelchair basketball player and para-alpine skier.
Van Bergen began her career in 2007 with the team of the Rotterdam Arrows'81 and in 2008 played for the Dutch women's wheelchair basketball team at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, where they reached the quarter-finals. Three years later, the Dutch wheelchair basketball team qualified for the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London. After losing in the semi-final, they won the bronze medal match. [1]
After winning gold at the 2013 Women's European Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Frankfurt, and bronze at the 2014 Women's World Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Toronto, the Dutch team won the silver medal at the 2015 Women's European Wheelchair Basketball Championship, thus qualifying for the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, where they won the bronze medal once again. Van Bergen has been active in sitting para-alpine skiing since 2014. After the 2016 Paralympic Games, she focused on this sport. In December 2021, she managed to qualify for the 2022 Winter Paralympics in Beijing. [3] [4] At the 2021 World Para Snow Sports Championships held in Lillehammer, Norway, van Bergen won the silver medal in the downhill event. [5]

Jessica Gallagher is an Australian Paralympic alpine skier, track and field athlete, tandem cyclist and rower. Melissa Perrine is a B2 classified visually impaired para-alpine skier from Australia. She has competed at the four Winter Paralympics from 2010 to 2022. At the 2015 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships, she won three gold, one silver and one bronze medals. At the 2018 Winter Paralympics, she won two bronze medals.
Mitchell Gourley is an Australian Paralympic alpine skier who competed for Australia in the downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom and super combined events at four Winter Paralympics - 2010 to 2022. He was Australian team co-captain with Joany Badenhorst at the 2018 Winter Paralympics. At the 2022 Winter Paralympics, he and Melissa Perrine carried the Australian flag in the opening ceremony. At the 2017 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships in Tarvisio, Italy he won the gold medal in the men's Super Combined Standing.
Menna Fitzpatrick MBE is a British alpine skier. She is visually impaired having only 5% vision and formerly skied with guide Jennifer Kehoe until 2021. They competed at the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang in March 2018 where they took four medals, including a gold in the slalom, making Fitzpatrick Team GB's most decorated Winter Paralympian.

Jeroen Kampschreur is a Dutch paralympic skier. Kampschreur was born without shinbones, which resulted in both of his legs being amputated above the knee at age one. Consequently, he began using a wheelchair. On 23 March 2018, Kampschreur was knighted in the Order of Orange-Nassau.
