Canuck Play and Doug Flutie agreed to a multi-year relationship with Maximum Football and will lend his name and likeness to the franchise. [2]
Canuck Play have also partnered to have equipment in the game with partners such as Xenith, Wilson Sporting Goods, Phenom Elite and Mokom Gloves. [3]
Maximum Football 2019 adds a whole new college football dynasty mode, including scouting, conferences and playoffs, [4] along with the choice of American college, or Canadian college, with American college having 130 teams, and Canadian college having 27 teams. [5] However, college teams in the game are unlicensed, meaning that there are no official NCAA teams [4]
The season mode that was included in Maximum Football 2018 returns in 2019, but is largely unchanged. [4]
Customization is also available, allowing people to customize and edit players, teams, and logos. [5]

Christopher Robert Higgins is an American former professional ice hockey winger and current Skills and Development coach for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). After two seasons with the Canadiens' minor league affiliate, the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League (AHL), he joined the NHL in 2005–06. He recorded three consecutive 20-goal seasons to begin his NHL career before being traded to the New York Rangers in June 2009. After brief stints with the Rangers, Calgary Flames and Florida Panthers, he joined the Vancouver Canucks in February 2011. Internationally, Higgins has competed for the United States in two World Junior Championships and one World Championship (2009).

It occurred at the end of the American Football Conference (AFC) Wild Card playoff game between the Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills at Adelphia Coliseum in Nashville, Tennessee. After the Bills had taken a 16–15 lead on a field goal with 16 seconds remaining in the game, on the ensuing kickoff return, Titans tight end Frank Wycheck threw a lateral pass across the field to Kevin Dyson, who then ran 75 yards to score the winning touchdown to earn a 22–16 victory.

It is the successor to Maximum Football 2020, which was formerly developed by Canuck Play. Modus Games acquired the rights to the Maximum Football series and announced the successor on September 1, 2021, on Discord. Modus Games would make a formal announcement about the game's development on February 7, 2022.
