Bellflower is a city located in southeast Los Angeles County, California, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It was founded in 1906 and incorporated on September 3, 1957. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 79,190, up from 76,616 at the 2010 census. This made it the 65th most densely populated city in the United States, of cities over 50,000 residents.

Currently, there are approximately 1,350 enrolled students. It is part of the HBUHSD school district, with five other high schools. The school is unique in that it features the only IB Program in the district. The implementation of “embedded tutorial” at the end of each period two years ago resulted in the biggest drop in the total number of D and F grades for students in the district. It features a business academy that has 170 participants, the sole Mandarin Chinese foreign language program in the district, and a college preparation curriculum. OVHS is also a two-time California Distinguished School.

The New Mexico State University teams are called the Aggies, a nickname derived from the university's agricultural beginnings. The mascot is known as "Pistol Pete". NMSU's colors are crimson and white. Since 2023 the Aggies have competed in Conference USA in all men's and women's sports. New Mexico State sponsors six men's and ten women's teams in NCAA sanctioned sports. The athletic director is Mario Moccia, who has held the position since January 2015.

He was signed with the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers and Philadelphia 76ers; however, he never played a game for either team. He was injured as a member of the 76ers, and was waived by the Blazers. He is 6 ft 7 in tall and he weighs 118 kg and used to play at the position of forward-center.

Harrisburg High School is a public high school located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This large urban high school is one of two public high schools operated by the Harrisburg City School District. In 2021–22, Harrisburg High School enrollment was reported as 1,187 pupils in 9th through 12th grades, with 664 males and 523 females. The graduation rate was 67.5%. According to the PA Department of Education 2% of the teachers were rated "Non‐Highly Qualified" under the federal No Child Left Behind Act. The school is a federally designated Title I school.
